Good Morning P2 Friends!
It's the start of another week. It'll be a long day for me since I work full-time right now and then rush home to go to my new part-time job. I don't think I'll be home to check posts until after 9pm. I know you'll encourage each other in my absence though! :-) How was your weekend? I managed to lose about 5 lb after restarting my healthy way of eating on Jan 1. For the past half dozen days I've been pretty much maintaining. I think I really have to do my exercise to get things moving consistently in the right direction.
I look forward to hearing how you're all doing. I hope you have a good day in spite of the whole Monday thing....giggle!
Breakfast: yogurt w/ Kashi GoLean & coffee
Lunch: lean beef and mixed veggies
Snack: Lite laughing cow cheese on RyKrisp
Dinner: Something very quick since I'll only have 15 minutes before rushing to my other job. I may resort to turkey deli meat & cheese?
Wishing you all sunshine and hoping all those flu/cold germs stay far away from everyone!

Good morning:
I am thinking positively at the moment that things WILL get better (although I'm not completely convinced yet).
The weekend was terrible diet-wise and not so great in other respects. The party was fun, and I did all right with staying on-track through the dinner part...but then the last people didn't leave until 6:30 in the morning, so I found myself snacking all night long just to stay awake. So of course I slept all day Sunday and by the time I woke up I was ravenous and still too tired to cook, so I ate more leftovers...by dinner time I was almost back in check and had a salad and some soup, but by after dinner I figured I'd already blown the day so I had some chocolate goodies for dessert, lol.
Not having a great morning so far...came outside this morning to see that my car got broken into for the second time in two months (with more damage this time, yippeee...my insurance company hates me now) managed to burn my breakfast in the microwave downstairs, don't have any cash on me to get anything else which led to the discovery that I left my ATM card at home too, and am now in trouble with my boss because someone else screwed something up and decided to deflect attention away from it by blaming ME for not cleaning up his mess exactly the way he wanted it done. Ugh.
So, menu...
B: 2 egg yolks and the salvageable cheese (the whites were inedible).
S: An orange (unless it fell out of my bag between here and home, which is entirely possible at this point).
L: Caesar salad, probably soup (unless I burn it). The chocolate peanut butter concoction (ditto), because I am going to need chocolate today so I'm going to make an effort to keep it LEGAL chocolate, lol.
S: Peanuts and a cheese wedge.
D: Sushi at a friend's house...I'm going to do my best to avoid the sticky rice, but I don't know what else they're serving, so we'll have to see.
Hope everyone else's week is starting out better than mine!!!!!!!
Shan

Thanks for the hugs ladies, I definitely need them today!!!!
Good news: I'm out of trouble at work...Boss Man clarified his 'request' for me clean up Idiot's mess into "I know it isn't your fault, but apparently he's incapable of fixing it himself and I'm tired of hearing him whine so can you please help him?" Which I shouldn't be such a pushover about, but whatever. Idiot remains on my bad list because he had the nerve to follow that up with an email to someone else blaming me for HIS mistake and taking credit for MY solution, and copied me on it...with my name spelled wrong.
Bad news: Went home at lunch and discovered that the stereo system is missing from my car. No idea why I didn't see that this morning, or if it happened while I was at work, or what, but it's gone. AND, since this is the second time in two months that it's been vandalized (and they wouldn't cover it the last time!!!), my insurance company is apparently convinced that I'm trying to defraud them so I need to chase down all kinds of proof that I did, in fact, repair all of the original damage out of my own pocket and that there is, in fact, a great deal of NEW damage for them to pay for. Then I ran into two of my neighbors who were standing there looking at my poor car when I got home and found out both of them have been hit at least once each, and our apartment complex is still just "looking into" hiring an overnight security guard for the parking lots.
ARGH!
Shan
Gees girl!
Good afternoon!
I just made roasted broccoli too!
Shan I am so sorry your car got broken into again. :-(
Thank you Maryann!
