I am so mad, sad, disappointed and I feel "duped" by Kelloggs!! I was at the grocery store the other day and I was in the waffle aisle. I saw some Kelloggs Nutrigrain Whole Wheat waffles on sale and I bought them. I thought "Great! those will be perfect for breakfast." I ate some this AM and I was looking at the nutrition info and it was OK. But then I closely read the ingredients and the first thing was "Enriched wheat flour." UGH!!!! Even though the front of the box says "made with whole wheat." It wasn't SBD legal. I was P.O.'d and I feel like they falsely advertised the nutrition. But the front says "made with whole wheat." Anyway....lesson learned....always read the ingredients despite what the front of the box says!!!!

Kathy,
It's a sad lesson, huh!
Hi Kathy,
I'm so sorry you picked up those waffles.
Ok, I am soooooooooooooooo excited about this! I love Kashi's Waffles especially the blueberry ones. 2 years ago when I was a really healthy and eating SBD style with out even knowing it I used to make these all the time. I would top the waffles with my own homemade blueberry syrup made with lots of frozen blueberries, Splenda, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and lemon zest brought to a low boil on the stove top. Ocasionally I would add a dallop of Fat Free Sour Cream. :)
It was so yummy!

Ohhhhh, you got me wantin' waffles, Scully.
Scully, that blueberry concoction sounds great!
I do not have a "Recipe" for it. I just kind of wing it as I am tossing things into a pot. But, I think I can guesstimate and post the recipe in the recipe section. ;)
It used to be my favorite breakfast! I am sooooooooooooo glad to know that I can have it on Phase 2. :)
