Cautiously entering Phase 2!

Today is day one of phase two and I am cautiously getting my feet wet! I am going to follow the CL's suggestions and add two good carbs a day for the first two weeks. (Thank you by the way to the CL's for posting the information about starting phase two, very helpful!)

This is what I plan to do. Have a hot or cold cereal in the morning and a piece of fruit for one of my snacks. Will this be ok? For instance, I had 1/2 cup of old fashioned Quaker Oatmeal and two pieces of bacon for breakfast and plan to have an orange or apple this afternoon for my snack. Then continue eating the way I did in Phase One for Lunch and Dinner Am I on the right track?

TIA,

Heather

I felt really good after eating the oatmeal. No cravings at all. I actually felt better eating "breakfast" food. I don't do eggs very well and eating leftovers from the night before or bacon and a hard boiled egg didn't work well either. I am not a breakfast person so I felt like I was forcing myself to eat it. Today was tasty and I actually wanted to have breakfast! I have always enjoyed hot or cold cereal for breakfast.

Thanks for the reminder about the carb competitor this afternoon. I would have forgotten!

Thanks,

Heather

I'm glad you did well with your oatmeal.
