Good Morning P2 Friends & Lurkers! :-)
I'm here at work wishing it were the weekend already! LMBO!! I am happy to report we will be thawing out a wee bit today here. It could get to 34 degrees but it will be windy. My car will need a wash and I bet everyone else will have the same idea! LOL
How are you all doing this week? I am going to experiment more with recipes from my SB Cookbook this week. I need some excitement....giggle! I am also going to get my rear in gear and at least do my weight training at home if it's too cold to walk outside.
How's the water consumption going?
Here is my Tuesday:
Breakfast: yogurt & Kashi GoLean cereal mixed and coffee
Snack: Mozz stick
Lunch: chicken, ww pasta & veggies
Snack: Maybe PB Yogurt
Dinner: Salmon & Asparagus & maybe also a salad, plus glass of milk
Snack: fudgesicle
Hope you're all keeping warm! :-)

Good morning!
Glad to hear you're thawing out, Suzy, at least someone is! It's 10 degrees here, and of course my heater broke again last night...it breaks every time the temp goes below freezing, and starts blowing cold air half the time :-( But I have to leave it running for the occasions when it decides to blow HOT air, so I get a lovely big electric bill too! My landlords gave me some space heaters so I don't totally freeze, but they don't help my electric bill issue any.
We ended up going out to dinner last night, TG was just dying for Chinese food. I'm actually kind of proud of myself, I think I did well under the circumstances. This was one of those places that gives you a soup, egg roll, entree combination. I asked for brown rice and extra veggies instead of the egg roll...and they wouldn't give it to me!! I finally gave in, and just didn't eat any of the rice or the egg roll (I did have some of those little crispy fried noodles, love those!) and ordered the curry chicken because it's not breaded or fried. I'm sure the sauce had more fat in it than I would like, but it looked like the best choice off the menu, and I made sure I ate my veggies off the plate! I had egg drop soup because it didn't have noodles, but again I'm not sure about the fat content...
So I'm going to try to stick to P1 today just in case...
B: Cottage cheese with Equal and cinnamon
S: Not sure yet, have to see what P1 stuff our cafe has available, if nothing then I'll get some fresh fruit and go P2 for my snack
L: tuna salad over spinach greens, with cheese and soynuts
S: Cheese wedge and peanuts
D: The stuffed peppers and spicy tomato soup I didn't make last night.
Dessert: Lemon ricotta creme
Have a great day everyone!
Shan
It's up to 17 degrees now (9:30 a.m.) here in North Carolina. Had to chase the school bus down in my car this a.m. because DD1 forgot her coat, but she has it now so that's good. I don't want to see this weekend because it's supposed to bring snow, and we tend to lose power when we get ice as well (I grew up in Florida so summer is my season :).
Anyway I'm feeling good. This is our first week of phase 2. Didn't drink all my water yesterday so I'm giving it more effort today. Not sure why such simple things always seem to be such a challenge, but I'll get there.
Hope you stay warm too!!
(DH and I have lost 4 pounds apiece, and we each have 17 to go to goal.)

Hey there!! This is my first "check-in" for Phase 2. Yesterday was my first day in this phase but I had the day off so I wasn't online much. ;o)
Anyway, we are much warmer here in Florida. Still VERY cold (felt like it was in the 20s this morning) but I'm sure it is weather most of you all would love to have. ;o)
Also, funny you should ask about water because I did HORRIBLE with that yesterday. I drank maybe 12 oz of it. Today I'm going to do a lot better.
Here is my menu for today. :o)
B: 1 egg, 1 slice of turkey bacon, and a sprinkling of reduced fat cheddar cheese on 1 piece of toasted whole wheat bread
S: 2 oz of ham
L: Chicken Caesar Salad
S: 30 pistachios
D: Grilled Sirloin, a veggie (broccoli?), and salad
De: small Apple and a glass of skim milk
It is great to hear how everyone is doing and I'm getting some great ideas reading the menus! Thanks for posting this. :o)
