Good Morning P2 Friends!

It's nearly Friday!!!  (The weekend is getting closer, can you feel it?)  I got stuck in a traffic jam on the interstate this morning so I'm a bit late getting started here.

I'm sorry I didn't get to finish responding to all the posts yesterday.  I was so tired I went home and my well intentioned nap turned into a couple hours.....giggle!  Then I had to make dinner and feed the furkids, etc.  I will read the posts though and I'll try to respond over my lunch today or when I get home tonight.

It's supposed to be up to 42 degrees here today.  It'll be cold again over the weekend, though.

Here goes today...

Breakfast:  Running late so I grabbed the usual yogurt & Kashi mix and my coffee

Lunch: (Forgot snack again.....I need to schedule my meals a week in advance to be better prepared, don't I?) I'm having green beans & grilled chicken

Snack:  Cashews

Dinner:  Salmon with asparagus and a salad

Snack:  fudgesicle

Good Morning! Sorry I've been out of the loop! I've been knee deep in college classes. I forgot how much work it was!!! I'm on my computer all the time, however I'be been too exhausted to check in.

I have been good on and off. I've definitely stepped up my exercise but I need to focus on what I'm eating. I let myself get too

Morning girls!

I can't wait for the weekend, I am in serious need of some down-time. Work is crazy, Munchkin's mom is driving me and TG there, and I'm just ready to curl up for two days straight with a book and a cup of tea.

So I'm just hoping I stay on-track these next few days...things aren't moving as fast as they were the last time around and I'm not happy about it. Fighting the give-it-up blues is never fun, and it's TG's turn to do the grocery shopping so God only knows what he's going to bring back!!!

At least I have my today planned out, I guess I can only take it one day at a time, right?

B: Scrambled eggs with cheese

S: Either l/f yogurt or peanuts

L: Either salad or leftover chicken with mushrooms and spinach

S: Not sure yet, have to rummage through the cabinets

D: Either ww spaghetti or a wrap on wgww tortilla, I'm on my own so I probably won't cook.

De: Mocha ricotta creme

UGH! I'm sooo sick and consequently I do not feel very motivated. I'm having trouble drinking water and eating all my veggies. Last night I ended up picking at my chicken and not eating anything else though I still needed to get about 2 cups of veggies in. I skipped dessert as well. Also TOM came knocking and that is just one more thing to make me miserable. So here is my cranky menu for today...

B: Crunchy SF PB on whole wheat toast and a cup of hot cocoa (SF of course!)
S: 2 oz of ham or string cheese
L: Grilled Chicken Salad
S: "Better than Sex" dessert (made it for office party so that I would have something to eat too!)
D: I have no idea but something with chicken breasts...any ideas for something simple? I have about an hour to make something when I get home though I am also watching my 1 year old son at the same time.
De: I don't know but I still have an apple waiting for me when I feel up to eating it.

Sorry to be such a sour puss. ;o)

Good Morning Suzy!

I hope you are having a good day today. I am still sick, so it looks like it will be another day of R&R for me.

Last night I made the mistake of running out with dh to run an errand before dinner. On the way home, he "BEGGED" for pizza. I don't thing he is quite ready to commit to the beach yet. Anyways, I had a huge Bowl of grilled veggies to fill me up as we waited for the pizza, but I still caved when it got to the table. I did well, only eating one piece, but boy did my stomach hurt when I got home. I guess some lessons are learned the hard way and I think I am over pizza for a very long time.

So, today is a new day and a fresh start. The scale was up higher than it has been in a while this morning and I still feel bloated from my icky stomach last night, so I am really going to be careful for the rest of the week.

Breakfast: Veggie Quiche Cup with V-8
Snack: Celery with Laughing Cow Cheese
Lunch: That yummy Tomato Fresh Mozzarella salad I should have ate last night.
Snack: A Glass of milk and some nuts
Dinner: Chicken Soup with wild rice
Dessert: Sugar Free Popsicle

Good Luck Everyone!

Hey Carol,

I'm sorry to hear you are feeling icky too. (((HUGS))) I can not imagine feeling like this and having a visit from TOM. :( You have every right to be cranky as far as I am concerned. I know I would be.

As for dinner, how about sticking that chicken in a little chicken broth with some onions, carrot, celery, and a little bit of garlic. It is an easier way to get in some veggies when you are feeling like this.

I hope you feel better! :)

You know I was dreading snow, but we only got an inch or so. The bad news is that here in North Carolina, that is enough to wreak havoc. We had 700 car accidents, and children were left overnight in over 50 Wake County schools. Luckily, my crew got home safely, just a couple hours later than expected. They're thrilled because school is closed today (the buses went to the schools at 8:30 a.m. to PICK THE KIDS UP and take them home (very strange indeed). They're calling for flurries again tonight, but hopefully it won't be so bad since most people will be home and can stay home if need be.

Anyway, DH and I are following the plan and he's been cooking some good food, making some yummy salads, and I'm sure we're getting healthier with each passing week (you read it right, he cooks, I take care of baby :).

I set aside some shorts that are too small, no way can I even button them -- I hope to be wearing them this summer! :)

Delivery weight 175, starting weight 147, current weight 143, goal weight 126.

Morning Shan!

Doesn't curling up with a book and a cup of tea sound wonderful?
