Good Morning P2 Friends!

It's nearly Friday!!!  (The weekend is getting closer, can you feel it?)  I got stuck in a traffic jam on the interstate this morning so I'm a bit late getting started here.

I'm sorry I didn't get to finish responding to all the posts yesterday.  I was so tired I went home and my well intentioned nap turned into a couple hours.....giggle!  Then I had to make dinner and feed the furkids, etc.  I will read the posts though and I'll try to respond over my lunch today or when I get home tonight.

It's supposed to be up to 42 degrees here today.  It'll be cold again over the weekend, though.

Here goes today...

Breakfast:  Running late so I grabbed the usual yogurt & Kashi mix and my coffee

Lunch: (Forgot snack again.....I need to schedule my meals a week in advance to be better prepared, don't I?) I'm having green beans & grilled chicken

Snack:  Cashews

Dinner:  Salmon with asparagus and a salad

Snack:  fudgesicle

Hello Margaret!

I am glad you didn't get too much snow but I am quite surprised what you did get caused that much havoc!

I have an uncle in Plattsmouth and grandparents in Lincoln. Like you, they are no strangers to snow and they can handle it (although it doesn't stop them from escaping to Florida when they can).

We have a dog and three cats so there are lots of mouths here to feed too. No rest for the weary, as they say!

Enjoy the rest of your day and I'll keep you posted on our "blizzard" expected this weekend (a few inches of snow with ice :).

(I've been known to read until the wee hours to finish a good book!)

Bets,

I am SO THERE with you, lol...when I was a kid Mom used to catch up with a flashlight at all hours of the night (and now my little brother does the same thing, lol). TG was surprised at first that I don't mind him staying on the computer playing games until all hours...and then he saw my book collection and realized I just wanted time to read them all again and again ;-) That's one of the reasons we get along so well, I think, we don't get in each other's way with demands for attention all the time!

It must run in my family...my full name is Shanna, my mom named me after the last book she had read before she went into labor. I tried to read it last year, it's a little too bodice-ripper for my taste and I sooooooo don't want to ask my mom what she was thinking naming me after that!!!
