Mornin' ladies!

I had quite a bad weekend of eating. I stayed on track for many of my meals, but we had people over on Friday night and I indulged in angel food cake and icecream. Then on Saturday we went to a party and I pretty much grazed the whole time, not paying much mind to the quality or quantity of my indulgences. I also had 3-4 glasses of red wine, which gave me the munchies for "real" food and so we stopped at Wendy's on the way home. SIGH. Needless to say, I felt sick for the rest of the night.

I did much better on Sunday, but I did cheat and have a few tortilla chips. :)

Unfortunately, the scale is "yelling" at me and I'm up 2.5 lbs. Grrrr... Trying to get to my goal of 179 by the end of the month, and this put me back up to 182. LOTS of water today!

Here is my meal plan:

B: eggs w/ spinach and zuchinni; coffee w/milk

L: Salad with iceberg lettuce, baby spinach, cucumbers, tomatoes, toasted almonds and a mustard vinaigrette. Was still hungry, so had a piece of WW toast after.

S: celery w/a mexi-dip I made w/black beans, light sourcream and taco flavorings. Good!

D: grilled chicken breast, the rest of the spinach, brown rice and another veggie

S: peanut butter yogurt w/a banana

Hi everyone, I have been so bad with 'checking in' on phase 2..I guess I was selfish and read all your great menus every day...:O So here I am...

My weekend was a little indulgent, too...we got about 24 inches of snow and when it snows, my former self bakes..lol..sort of a cause and effect type thing. So I made some cookies with my girls and had 2. Which I suppose is better than 12. :)

Here's today:

B - Barbara's ceral w/skim milk
S - penaut butter and celery
L - Maggie's (YUMMY) chili and some grape tomatoes
S - Pudding
D - Teryaki Chicken and Broccoli (a lot of it..;)
S - Apple, I am guessing..or some hummus and celery

Have a great Monday..I hope everyone gets plowed out of this big old mess! I know it makes me grateful that I have my freedom and a car after a weekend like this! My driveway looks like the luge, it's a riot...it the temp would stay above 0, we could go out and go sledding...

Good afternoon ladies! This weekend was a hard one for me too. No big spurges, just a lot of little ones that add up. I still ended up losing 2 lbs this week though. :o) Also,

Suzy, sounds like you had a great weekend! Your post reminded me that Life Aquatic is supposed to be on our Netflix list too. :o) Also, thanks for being a sweetie and posting the check-in! :o)

BTW, I tried the PB yogurt yesterday for breakfast and it was great though I did add a bit of mashed banana to it. ;o) I am feeling a bit better but I still sound horrible. lol

Here is my menu for today...

B: half a piece of whole wheat toast w/ a little bit of peanut butter (Tiernan requested the other half) and some cucumbers and humus
S: string cheese and a few slices of turkey pepperoni
L: spaghetti squash with parmesan and mozzarella cheese, garlic, and a fresh tomato
S: almonds
D: Meatloaf and salad
De: raspberries and yogurt

I think I am probably over doing it with the cheese, especially since the meatloaf has cheese too. I will try to go with less cheese tomorrow.

Oh my goodness! I can't even imagine all of that snow. I'm in FL though so *any* snow is a miracle around here. ;o) Hope they dig you out fast! Thank goodness for the internet huh? :o)

Glad you have electricity and ~*~*~*~STAY WARM~*~*~*~ vibes!

Congrats on being 2 sizes down! That is wonderful. Also, your scale is moving in the right direction and that is the important thing. I got spoiled by the rapid weight loss of Phase 1 so I too am having to remind myself that *any* weight gone is a very good thing! :o)

*\o/* Keep up the good work! *\o/*

Happy Monday! That stinks about the Shop N' Save's. I wonder why they would stop carrying Dannon? It doesn't make sense to me. Your menu looks great and like you, I rarely know what we are eating at dinner. lol

Oh man! I'm sorry to hear about your continuing heater problems. They really need to do something about that. Whole wheat biscuits sound divine as does that fudge! I need recipes!! LOL Can't wait to try it when it is perfected. ;o)

Also, I *love* fantasy and I love fantasy series even more! I haven't read any of David Eddings books but I assume you recommend them?

Welcome Julie!!! Your menu sounds great though you could try to have an apple or some berries tonight for snack as well. Take it as slow as you want though. I'm finding the slower the better! :o)
