cereal question

I started phase 2 last week and I am having no problem at all sticking with the program. I just realized this morning though that I am supposed to measure my morning cereal. I've just been pouring myself a bowl of Fiber I every morning and eating it. Now I find out that I'm only supposed to have a 1/2 cup! I am probably eating about 1 - 1&1/4 cup every morning. Is that why my weight loss is slowing down. Also if I do begin measuring 1/4 cup every morning can I also have something with it like a boiled egg or some other phase one food - 1/2 cup of cereal would leave me feeling hungry. I love this eating plan and the part for me that makes it so easy to stay on is that I can eat until satisfied and still lose weight (10 lbs so far!).
