Fabulous Friday - P2 Check in

Wow?  Am I really the first one today? ( =

Well, the bad news is that we are now going out to eat tonight at our favorite sports bar (with the awesome cheese fries).  I am going to be good on the entree but am going to indulge a little & have some fries. (I cannot resist!)
The good news is that I hopped on the scale today (for motivation) & I have hit the 20lb mark!!  Now I'm hoping that will keep me from loading my plate tonight because I won't count this weight - I only use the weight I get on Sunday...Here is hoping it stays gone!!

I'm going to P2 Lite today & this weekend to help - only a serving of grains once a day & one fruit.  I have to ask - has anyone tried that fiber supplement thing?  I read somewhere that it will help when you go off the Beach a little.  I have a sample pack of Citrucel around here somewhere & am willing to try it if it helps!

Menu for today:

B: PB Yogurt (1Tb)
S: slice of Cilantro Frittata (smells wonderful - I'll let y'all know how it turns out!)
L: Edited to say - changed my mind about the salad & made a batch of roasted cauliflower & broccoli...& ate way too much of it!  Also had a little cottage cheese.  Man am I full!
S: apple w/PB (1TB)
D: we're going to have small salads at our regular dinner time because we aren't going out tonight until 8 or 8:30pm.  Hopefully this will also help us out a little!

Have a great weekend everybody!  I'm going to try & walk again so I can get in 3 times for this week.  I've been doing terrible on my water (I'm lucky to get in 2 glasses) so I'm going to strive for more water intake.  I'll be making a batch of Crystal Lite because that helps me keep up fluids.

Talk to y'all on Monday!!

Hi Bets!

Congrats on hitting the 20 lb mark, that's awesome news!!!! And don't sweat it too much about the cheese fries tonight, you're doing the right thing by planning ahead and around a little departure (I find that that greatly diminishes the chances of it becoming a BIG departure, lol).

Can't stay long...kids are coming over tonight and I have to go over my grocery list again to see what else I need. I hate buying juices and stuff which I know I won't finish, but I can't deprive the kiddies, lol.

Today's plan:

B: Finished up the cottage cheese

S: Orange

L: Big salad

S: Not sure yet, don't have much in the house because I didn't get to go grocery shopping last night, and TG wasn't paying attention at lunch yesterday and poured his water into the last can of mixed nuts instead of his water glass, LOL

D: WW spaghetti and grilled veggies

De: Also not sure yet, Munchkin #2's mom is bringing cookies for the kids, I'll probably just have a choc/PB melt.

They scale still isn't back down from my Wednesday day of being bad, but I'm not upset about it.

Good morning ladies,

Okay, I'm getting pretty fed up with seeing that scale sitting on 164! It had better start moving soon or I'll have to get a new one!! LOL I hope Bob Greene's not lying when he says that if you workout, your muscles glom on to more water and so initially you don't lose weight, but eventually it kicks in!! I sure hope that's what's happening to me!

Today's meals:

Pre workout - fruit yogurt
Breakfast - spinach omelette with soy sausage patties, V-8, black coffee
Snack - string cheese
Lunch - 1/2 can salmon on w/w toast, an orange
Snack - celery w/laughing cow
Dinner - grilled chicken with leftover roast veggies and salad

Have a great day everyone.

Shar

It's Friday and I stayed home again today because my daughter is sick. She is much better than yesterday but she wasn't ready to tackle school yet. Because of this I missed my work out at the YMCA so I did a pilates tape and some other exercising here at the house. Right now I am baking cakes and brownies for my son's school carnival tomorrow. I don't think I will have any problems staying out of them (at least I hope).

B - oatmeal and toast with peanut butter (I know I shouldn't eat two grains at breakfast but I love pb with oatmeal. It occurred to me while I was eating it just to put the pb in the oatmeal.
L - bowl of soup left over from last night, left over steak and some veggies
S - yogurt with berries, SF vanilla syrup and uncle sam cereal
D - thin port steak with roasted cauliflower

I hope everyone has a good weekend.

Hey Everyone,

Happy Friday! I am so glad the weekend is here! Now I just need to find a way to behave on the beach. :) I don't know what is with me, but I have been craving an "icing slice" of cake all week. (Honestly all I ever eat is the icing.) Very Dangerous! Still, I am going try really hard not to break down, because today I am wearing a pair of pants that have not fit in 2 years. I know that "icing slice" is not really worth it, and I really am excited about weighing in this Sunday. Hopefully that will give me some inspiration to just let it go. :)

Congrats Bets on reaching your first mini goal! That is awesome! Do you have any rewards set up for yourself?
Have fun tonight!

B: Vanilla Cinnamon Oatmeal
S: Celery with Laughing Cow Cheese
L: Split Pea Soup
S: Yogurt
D: Chicken Soup with Wild Rice
D: The last piece of Almond Sponge Cake with Strawberries and Whipped Cream
Late Night Snack: Hopefully I do not cave, go to the Bakery at Kroger and beg for a tiny tub of icing. LOL! Physical cravings are a walk in the park for me, it is the mental ones that really kick my butt from time to time.
