Good Morning!
I see we have a few new Phase 2 friends here this week. Welcome! If you have any questions please feel free to ask. There are many supportive people here to help. :-)
I am getting ready now to take my baby to the vet since his teeth weren't trimmed properly last week. I hate to put him through more surgery, but I can't leave him with uneven teeth which prevent him from eating. :-( My prayers go out to Sara who lost her dear furangel ^Snowflake^ yesterday. It was pretty sudden and I can imagine how sad she is since her baby wasn't very old. :-( ((((((Sara))))))
Here's my day so far.....I lost some water weight from TOM so I'm happy! LOL
Breakfast: Eggbeaters & Canadian Bacon, coffee
Snack: Mozz stick
Lunch: Unsure. Maybe a big salad with leftover grilled chicken
Snack: PB Yogurt
Dinner: Fish & sauteed veggies, glass of milk
Snack: sf ff pudding
Have a good week everyone!

Hi everyone!
I realized that I never really introduced myself when I came on the SBD boards. My name is Cindy and I live in South Dakota. I am married and have two children, 5 year old girl and 7 year old boy. I work parttime outside of the home and full time at home. I started SBD in 4-04 and did really well until I feel off in late summer. I gained back about 10 pounds but that has been creeping off since I started back in January. I have lost 6 of those pounds but won't to happy until I get down to where I was and below. I am mad at myself because I let myself eat SBD unfriendly foods this last weekend because I didn't want to offend my mom and sisters. I should have know better. Well, that is over and I will move on.
B - scrambled eggs with w/w toast and sf jam
s - apple and string cheese (my favorite)
L - chili
D - chicken breast, sweet potato and veggie
de - I am going to try pb yogurt

Hi ladies!
Sorry I haven't had time to read through everyone's posts yet...Sara, I'm so sorry to hear about Snowflake :-(
I'm in a training all week, so will only be able to post at night when I can boot TG off the computer...the training itself is heavy on statistics, and all the examples have to do with trucking and gas mileage, yawn, but hopefully it's part of my next step up the corporate ladder so I'll grin and bear it!
Today's menu was...
B: slice of Susan's Crustless Crab Quiche (yummy!)
S: cup of fruit
L: Highly disappointed, I specifically and purposely ordered SBD-friendly accompaniments to today's pasta bar lunch for the training (it's good to be in charge of catering, lol), and guess which were the only dishes they forgot to bring????? There wasn't enough salad to make a meal out of it, so I had to have some tortellini (but I picked the tri-color, hopefully there was real spinach and tomato gone into making it!!!) And, ok, I didn't HAVE to have the brownies, but I did...it wasn't worth it :-(
S: Mixed nuts, cheese cubes, and grapes (probably too many nuts)
D: Emeril's Vegetarian Chili (will post recipe when I have more time later this week, it was awesome), and Cathy's Substitute Cornbread (fabulous!)
De: SBD peanut butter cups, which I see someone has already resurrected the recipe for...sorry, Carol, I didn't have time to experiment with the fudge this weekend, too many Munchkins running around, but I promise I will soon!
Take care everyone, talk to you more soon!
Shan
Hiya girls!
Sara - I am soooo so sorry about your kitty! It's so devastating to lose a pet. I still miss the ones I've lost over the years. ((((((((((hugs!!)))))))))))
I had an extremely busy day today! Cleo is fine, just on more medicines and a new special food. It's a good thing she is so sweet and cute, because she certainly is high maintenance! LOL Also had a doc appt for myself to follow up on a mammogram. I'm having them pretty young (34) and it's making me all paranoid. Everything is fine, but it sure makes me thing about things I'd rather not ponder. Ya know?
Here was today's menu:
B: 2 fried eggs, 1 pc toast, coffee w/milk
L: Morningstar Farms "buffalo wings" (not sure if SBD legal?), cucumbers
D: pork and veggie stirfry
S: PB yogurt (going for it now....)
Plus, I did 30 minutes on the elliptical trainer at the gym this afternoon. Holy cow, I haven't eaten enough today! Ugh, no wonder I'm so tired.
Good sleepies!
Leslie
Welcome Natasha!
