Good Tuesday Morning P2 Friends!
How are you this morning? I'm happy because I've lost 3 lb of water weight. Woo Hoo! LOL I am 7.5 lb from my first mini-goal. It's a new month so I hope I can meet that goal by the end of this month. :-)
How is exercise going? And drinking water? Don't I sound like a broken record? LOL It's important, though, and I know from experience that those things are crucial to losing & keeping off the weight.
Gandalf my chinchilla is happy that he doesn't have to have any more teeth drilling/filing done today. LOL He's eating mostly by syringe but I hope he'll start eating his normal foods again soon. I've sent my vet some names of chin dental expert vets (thanks for the info Sara!!) for her to refer to. Thanks again everyone for your thoughts & prayers!!
My menu today:
Breakfast: sf ff yogurt w/ cup Kashi GoLean cereal & coffee
Snack: Mozz stick
Lunch: SB tuna salad
Snack: ff Wasa whole grain cracker w/ lite Laughing Cow cheese
Dinner: I'm going to search SB cookbook....is there a chili recipe in there?
(Last night I opted to have a lf ww tortilla with my lean beef & veggies....I was amazed it had 21g fiber! Wow!)

Good Afternoon Ladies:
Its a new Month alright!! and I'm going to up my exercising from 60 mins to 90 mins per day.I'm also going to up my fiber from 35 grs. to 40 grms.Hoping this will start my weight going down. Lost .5 this morning,its a small amount but anything after a gain is satifying.
my menu today is
B=Fruit Smoothie 2 mugs of Plain decaf Green Tea
S=V8
L=grilled pork veggie & bean soup l/f cheese spread on 2 wasa crackers(18 gr Fiber)
S=1 c l/f yogurt
D=Huge Salad with with F.V. Chicken Souvlaki
Dessert=Peach Cups
Had 39 gr of fiber today, Had 48 oz of water so far. Hugs Maryann

I'm glad your chincilla is having a better day today. I had to travel to an area in our state where it is impossible to get a healthy meal, so I took my own lunch. I was proud of myself for not breaking down and going after the patty melt. By the way, I tried the pb yogurt last night and I must have done something wrong because it tasted terrible. I put a couple of tablespoons of natural pb in plain no fat yogurt and added a packet of splenda. What did I do wrong?
menu for today:
b - scrambled eggs, ww toast with sf jam, V8
sn - string cheese and soy nuts
l - chicken salad on ww tortilla, yogurt
sn - string cheese, cashews (I know, too many nuts but I need something when I am driving)
d - hamburger patty with chili, cauliflower, broccoli
de - sf, ff fudge bar

Thank you Cindy, I had some nice quality time with Gandalf last night and he's doing better except he still isn't eating or drinking much on his own.
