Good Morning Ladies! (And any lurker men who haven't been brave enough to post....giggle!)

Well it's almost Friday......gotta get through today first.  At least it's sunny out and should be warmish today.  (Warm for February anyway).

I'm worried about my dear Gandalf again....he's not wanting to eat hardly at all and still won't drink water.  I will see how he is when I get home from work and if he's still not eating I will have to phone the vet to see if they can give him some fluids or something to help him out.

I need to drink lots of water today.  I gained over a pound over night and all I can figure is it was from not drinking enough water yesterday.  I ended up having sauteed veggies last night for dinner with a little lf canadian bacon & turkey thrown in.  I used a TBS of a shiitake mushroom sauce.  I think maybe there was too much salt in it?  I will do better today.

Breakfast:  sf ff yogurt & Kashi GoLean and coffee

Lunch:  lean beef and green beans & sauteed red peppers

Snack:  apple w/ lite LC Cheese

Dinner:  Salmon & veggies (at my parents' house so I'm not sure which veggies yet).

Snack:  fudgesicle

Have a good day everyone!  :-)

Hello! DH is down 7 pounds, and I'm still hanging in there at minus 5.

This has been a "sick" week here. Both the big kids had a virus of some sort, Katie is home from school today because her temp was 101.6 last night (she feels better now, but I didn't want her to go to school and let some other kids catch it). I'm on my third bottle of prescription eye drops for a stubborn bout of conjunctivitis - pretty sure it's getting better finally (which is good because the next step is an ophthalmology referral). DH and the baby still have their health so that's good. :)

I hope Gandalf feels better!

I'm still feeling really good. Day 4 of SBD phase 2 for me. For a few days there I stalled (and up a pound or so) and then finally today I'm down a few again! NICE. Total weight loss: 14.2 pounds.

Went for a nice walk yesterday with the kids as it was beautiful outside. Hoping to get out again today. By the looks of the sunrise, it's going to be another nice day.

Had some popcorn last night (w/butter) which was my only carb (I was craving) but didn't have that much. Had no oil with lunch or dinner, so I figured it would be okay.

Anyhow, have a great day!

Hi Gals:

Went to the doctors today for blood work.Ask a few questions about body fat,and what is right amount for me. He said that alot of computer charts on the subject are for YOUNG ATHLECTIC type. He measured my BMI for my weight & height and say it was 27.5(156 lb) and I should get it down to under 25(143 lbs). So I changed my weight goal from 145 to 140 YIKES it hard enough to get to 145 now its going to get harder to get down to 140. Wish me Luck Hugs Maryann

My menu today was:

Brunch=1/3 c l/f cottage cheese with lettuce & tomato,6 thin slice of ham on a wasa cracker.
large cup of homemade veggie soup.

S=1c l/f yogurt and 1 peach

D=salad with F.V. 3oz. chicken,1 c cauliflower with 1 c carrots,1/2 c brown rice. 1apple

Dessert=1c chocolate flavored soy milk

Thanks Bets for your conference in me reaching my new goal. This time I'm going to get there. As the SB is going to be a way of life. Hugs Maryann
