Snack - yogurt and kiwi
Lunch - salad with some leftover roast pork loin
Snack - laughing cow cheese with celery
Dinner - leftover curried chicken breast with chinese broccoli and some cauliflower (maybe SB potatoes).
Dessert - Chocolate s/f f/f pudding

Have a great day!

hi everyone,

After a super busy weekend of carting the boys to their great-great grandmother's memorial service (she was 105) on saturday, and then a family b-day party for their great uncle (recently diagnosed with terminal cancer) - SBD went officially out the window.

On friday night - between me and my husband we may have gotten 2 hours sleep (cummulative, not consecutive). Then the packing for the memorial. Three infants to pack, feed, dress change, drive there (1 hour away) etc. leaded me to drink 3 cokes for the caffeine (no time to make coffee!!!). Overall eating wasn't so bad. Then Saturday night, kids did another number on us, and with only another 3 hours sleep at most, woke up on Sunday morning at 4:45 which the kids declared they were awake for the day...we stumbled along....and managed to get out the door and over to the party.

I ate SBD for dinner last night and crashed at 7:30pm right after the boys, and luckily grandpa stayed over and watched the kids so my DH and I could sleep for the night. Thank goodness.

Today - completely SBD so far. I have no real urge to cheat. But ev en with the sleep, I am drained. This put me at a 1.2 pound gain on my first week of phase 2. I am not giving up - just more determined to continue.

Hello all:

Well, I had my doctor's appointment this morning. In the last four months, I officially gained back 35 of the 40 pounds I lost over the last year and a half :-( Which explains why the jeans that fit when I recommitted to SBD last month no longer button :-( :-( However, the doctor did say that he believes that the Depo is to blame for most of it, so I feel slightly less like a colossal failure, although I know I that I could have done a better job of controlling the gain if I hadn't strayed in those transitional months between moves. Anyway, he put me back on the brand of pill that I had originally wanted (which is how I ended up on Depo in the first place, the last doctor wouldn't prescribe it for me because I didn't have insurance, and their alternative was a brand I had before and hated), so things should start straightening out from here on.

On the plus side, awesome Super Bowl party last night!!!! YAY PATRIOTS!!!!!!!!!! I feel so vindicated, lol, this last move was into Eagles territory, and I was so incredibly sick of hearing "Fly Eagles Fly" by yesterday that even if I hadn't been born and raised anti-Eagles I would have been rooting for the Patriots, lol. TG and I were the only ones at the party going for the Patriots, which got interesting towards the end...anyway, the guy who hosted has an awesome house: the 60 inch plasma TV upstairs was the BAD spot to watch the game, lol. He owns and runs a second-run movie theater out of his basement, he rigged it up to project the game onto the movie screen, it was great! He showed the Lemony Snicket movie, his feature this month, as the pre-game show, I loved it :-)

Anyway, today's menu (going for P2-lite until I can hit the grocery store and do a real P1 -- vegetarian this time, I promised TG I'd try it for two weeks):

B: Spanish-style scrambled eggs

S: Nuts, glass of milk

L: Chicken Quick-A-Tore leftovers (used WW penne)

S: Jello

D: Veggie-crust pizza with salad or chili

De: Lemon ricotta creme

Hi ladies,
This is my first Phase II check-in. I did not do to well at planning my meals today and therefore went off course (having leftover Super Bowl food in the house didn't help and I did so good last night too) this morning. I did go to the gym and work out this morning before hubby left for work though. I am planning tomorrows meals and will check in tomorrow. Plus I am planning to go to my morning yoga session at 6am! Looking forward to getting to know ya'll!

BTW, Suzy, I am one of the biggest animal lovers in the world and I hope that your sweet Gandalf gets better soon.
