I am very frustrated! I know ate too much and too many non-SBD friendly foods at the Superbowl party but I didn't know the damage would be so bad! I'm up 4.5 pounds! Ah!! So much for being at goal . . . I am sticking to Phase 2 and eating my fruits, so hopefully that will be ok.

Hi,

It's probably temporary water retention.

That's my hope. I am sure they contained a lot of sodium. Also, I ate healthful foods all day and exercised and just indulged over the dinner hours. I even stopped eating several hours before bed. I'm crossing my fingers that this is just temporary!

I'm down two pounds from yesterday so the weight is coming off as hoped! Still up 2.5 pounds from Sunday but hoping it will be gone soon! Thanks for the advice and help!

Oh yes, I hear ya! I had Super Bowl aftermath too! I was up 3.5 lbs in one day. I spent the last two days eating mostly P1 and drinking plenty of water and my weight gain is down to a mere 0.5 now. Another way to get rid of excess fluid is vitamin C. I'm taking extra C because I feel a cold coming on, but it also makes me have to pee alot. Up to 1000 mg is fine.

Now we should be safe from holidays for the most part. Just stick to dark chocolate on Valentine's Day. :)
