Good morning beach buddies!

I didn't see a check-in post, so I'll get things started today. I'm glad the weekend is over, because I kept getting off track. This morning I was suprised by AF, so now all those sweet cravings make sense. I need to keep better track of these things so I can be better prepared next time! LOL

It is yucky and rainy today. But my 4 yo daughter is so loving and enthusiastic about Valentine's Day that she is making it a lovely day after all. So on her behalf (normally, I'm much more of a cynic)... HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

We'll probably be staying home today because of the weather, and hopefully I can take the opportunity to get the house picked up. DH made pizza from scratch last night and the kitchen is a wreck.

Here is my plan for the day:

B: 2 eggs w/1 pc ww toast; coffee w/milk
S: celery w/LC cheese (if I feel like I need it)
L: large salad w/leftover chicken from Saturday
S: nuts
D: either chili or homeade veggie soup - haven't decided which one I'll make yet
S: pb yogurt

Hello all!

Happy Valentine's Day :-) We're not really celebrating, we decided to wait and do something more special next month when things are less crazy. We're both kind of cynics about the whole thing, so it's not a big deal. I did have a special surprise dessert planned for tonight BUT when I went to bake it yesterday while he was out of the house I discovered that "someone" had shut off the heated dry on the dishwasher and all my cake pans have rust in the bottoms where the water sat. Sooooooo...no cake, lol. I may try to convert the recipe to cupcakes tonight, we'll see.

I promised TG I'd try eating vegetarian for two weeks, starting today, since he's been so good about trying SBD recipes with me...wish me luck!

Today's menu:

B: Egg, cheese, and Boca sausage breakfat sandwich on WW Kaiser roll (a new favorite!)

S: Banana and, um, 1 chocolate cupcake

L: Probably a salad

S: Mixed nuts or cheese

D: Curried Lentil & Spinach Stew; Pear and Honey-Mustard Salad (making my own honey-mustard dressing to control the sugar content)

De: Black-Eyed Susan cupcakes with SF dark chocolate icing

Sorry about your events with the little ones. Crazy cats!

Yes, I know I've been missing in action. Very busy with school and last week the whole household was sick. Been doing pretty good with my eating, with a little treat here and there. I think I've lost about 7 pounds of the 20 I put on since I've been up here in Alaska. I can't believe it's been 41/2 months!

I'll write again later when I have more time. I have to update you on the kitties and how they are doing living with grandma and grandpa.

Bye,

Tricia
