Today is the start of Phase 2 for me. I started my second week on P1 with very little weight loss, and was frustrated at only losing 1 pound the first week. I weighed myself today to record my stats for the start of P2, and I lost a total of 5 pounds during P1. (Hang on while I do the HAPPY DANCE!!!!!) I am a happy camper now! I know a lot of you have lost more on Phase 1, but this is the first time the scales have gone in the minus direction in over 6 or 7 years for me. I love this SBD!
Maggie, you will also be glad to know that I have upped my laps around the house to 15 laps, instead of the 10 I did last week. I hope I'm not wearing out my carpet. This afternoon, I will ride my exercise bike for 15 minutes to get in the 30 minutes of exercise for today. If I'm not too pooped, I will also do a few arm curls and lifts with my 2# hand weights, too. When warmer and drier weather gets here, I'll walk outside.
I checked out 2 of the Walmarts around my area, and neither one of them had the exercise wedge you told me about. So I might have to order it online.
I am just so tickled and amazed at the reading on my scales this morning...can't you tell?
I was only expecting a 2 or 3 lb weight loss. My hubby said he even lost 3 lbs, too, eating like I am, and he wasn't as strict with his eating as I was. And, yes, I had my oatmeal for breakfast w/2slices of turkey bacon...yum!
~Susie~ :)

Susie, that's fantastic!!!
Thank you Maggie and Kristin for your words of encouragement..they mean a lot to me.
I saw Dateline last night about the 5 people from the same high school who chose 5 different weight loss programs to help them lose weight for their upcoming 25 yr class reunion. One of the women, the heaviest, chose the SBD. It showed how each of them HAD to exercise in order to help them lose the weight. They all hit a "speed-bump" along the way, but after the 7 or 8 months (I forgot how long they were on their diets), the end results were fantastic for all of them. That gives me so much motivation to stick to this WOE, too. I want to look as good as they did! Also when I read other's posts on this BB about their weight losses and how they look now, it is also an inspiration to me. I can do this, too. I have to want it real bad, and , believe me, I WANT THIS REAL BAD!! I realize that I HAVE to exercise in order to lose these unwanted pounds. Period! You can see that I am really trying to talk myself into exercising more.
Again, thank you for your kindness! HAPPY VALENTINES TO ALL OF YOU ON THIS BB!!
