Soy flour VS Whole Wheat

Have you used them, which did you like better, why??

It seems that Soy flour has less calories, less fat, more fiber and WAY more protein than whole wheat, however, I haven't actually cooked with either yet, and am concerned about texture and taste.

I have a recipe for pizza crust made with soy flour that sounds great, and is very low in carbs, only 6 per serving, with pizza toppings.

Any comments??

Hi Michele,


During phase 2, you may use whole grain flour, including soy, for cooking and baking. Research has shown that increased amounts of soy may be have health benefits including the treatment of menopausal symptoms.
