Hello everyone!

I thought i would start this thread today since it is already tuesday here in cloudy barcelona!

Here is what i am planning on having today. Also, this is my second day in P2 so i hope that im not over doing it with the carbs.

Breakfast: 1/2 cup of uncooked sloooow cooking oatmeal with 1 teaspoon full natural peanut butter and skim milk. coffee.

Snack: 1 babybel light and a grande nonfat caffee latte from starbucks.

Lunch: 1 grilled medium sized turkey breast, roasted cauliflor (probably around 1 cup or something.. how do you measure cauliflor?!) and 1/2 cup cooked whole wheat cous cous. 3/4 cup of low fat natural yogurt with 1 teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa powder and sweetner. tea with milk.

Snack: i dont think i will be having a snack, but if i do get hungry i will probably have a small apple or something.

Dinner: 1 can of sardines with 1 cup of cooked spinach sauteed with onions and olive oil.

How does my menu sound? Too much carbs? too little?

oh poo.

I started out the day so so well, eating according to my nice menu until it came to dinner. Our meeting turned out to be a dinner meeting and we went out to a restaurant.. an italian restaurant!! aarrgg! we ended up having pizza and pasta and bread and the like.. oh well, i guess tomorrow is another day right? :(
What should i do tomorrow though? should i cut back on all carbs and have a sort of P1 day or two? I feel i should do that somehow..

Any suggestions? i know this is bound to happen more in the future and that i should probably learn how to say NO to what they plan to order but here in Spain, what we tend to do is order for everyone and then we just share so its hard to be picky..

Oh and by the way, suzypenguin, I do live here in Barcelona. I've been here for almost 6 years now and i love the place!!

sprit3... Don't beat yourself up over one meal. I'd say continue phase two tomorrow and see if you have any cravings. The real reason for phase one is to get rid of cravings. If you're not having any, then just stick with phase two. The beauty of SBD is that if you slip up, you just hop right back in. Occasional slip-ups are OK as long as your cravings don't kick back in.

As for the weather here in Atlanta... I'd rather not talk about it. ;-) It's about 70 degrees and sunny and I've been stuck in my cubicle all day. At least I have a window so I can see what I'm missing!

Today's menu...
B: 2 h-b eggs and a V-8
MS: celery with hummus
L: leftover shrimp fra diavolo over spaghetti squash (YUM!) and yogurt
AS: apple with pb
D: tossed salad, meatloaf, carrots, and braised cabbage
S: either a sf popsicle or nsa fudgesicle
