Goodmorning everyone!
Actually, it is not so 'good' here in Barcelona, the rain just does not stop! how frustrating! Rain is lovely when you are inside, cuddled up with a hot tea and warm, but not when you actually have to walk around and go to work! Lol!

So yesterday was not a good day in the end because of a massive carb overload, and i am NOT talking the good kind of carbs! But never mind, I will continue with phase 2 and just hope that i didnt do too much damage!

Here is the plan for today:

Breakfast: 1 small apple with handful of hazelnuts and coffee with milk.

Snack: handful or two of toasted garbanzo beans

Lunch: 1 frozen block of spinach sauteed with olive oil with 1 turkey breast. low fat natural yogurt. tea with milk.

Snack: 1 babybel light cheese

Dinner: i have no clue. probably a veggie of some sort wth 1/3 cup cooked cous cous and a tin of sardines. i will be coming home late and that is the fastest thing i can cook!

alright that is it for me, have a great day everyone!

Good morning!

I hear ya about the rain, although I've got to say I think I'd put up with a little rain to be in Barcelona right now :-) Did you move there for business or pleasure? That's something I'd like to do someday...TG and I have our dream list of places to escape to once Munchkin is old enough to either be on her own or come with us!

Here's today's plan...we're still doing the vegetarian experiment, which seems to be working out nicely so far :-) And I will post that Vegetarian Sloppy Joe recipe if I can get computer time tonight when I have my cookbook!

B: Fruit smoothie (frozen mixed berries, skim milk, plain non-fat yogurt, splash of lemon juice, cinnamon, and Splenda)

S: None, the smoothie was big!

L: Vegetable soup and a Vegetarian Sloppy Joe

S: Nuts

D: Veggie burgers on WW Kaiser rolls with baked zucchini sticks

DE: PB yogurt (had it last night, now I'm hooked too, lol)

Take care everyone!

I would take the rain over the snow in New England. More at the end of the week and supposedly a huge storm coming next week. I am so sick of it.

Not a bad day yesterday. Ate what I was supposed to, but didn't make it to the gym since DH said I could get my ipod!!! I am so excited. It is the coolest little thing. Will get there tonight, with my ipod!!

Rainy, rainy, rainy here too. This weather this year has been SO strange - almost scary! I'm in the desert and most years we get 10 days of rain TOTAL for the whole YEAR, we are at least triple that so far this winter, and just this last week we have had 6 days in a row. Its a bummer because usually winter is our time to enjoy being outdoors - hike, BBQ, kids ride bikes and play outside (its usually 70 and sunny most of the winter) and summer is when we hibernate indoors as its over 110 degrees from June-Sept (some days as high as 118-120) So now we will have "cabin fever" by the time summer hits - and then we will STILL be stuck indoors! Not good! Usually our awesome winter makes up for the summers and we have about 8 months of the year of good weather to enjoy being outdoors, and only about 4 months of icky weather - but not this year. Its supposed to clear up after tomorrow for a few days at least, I can't wait to go for jog at the park, I'm getting bored with my work tapes!

B: oatmeal (made w/1 cup milk), sf maple syrup
s: shake (soy milk, yogurt, ice, berries)
L: leftover chicken w/mushrooms & artichoke hearts, ww pasta, salad
s: apple w/ peanut butter
D: steak, mashed cauliflower, salad
d: not sure yet

Stay dry everyone, hopefully we'll all see some sunshine soon!

Not great eating today-- actually not eating enough! Here's today so far...

B: Lots of splenda and skim milk with a dab of coffee

S: None

L: Chicken salad on a huge bed of lettuce and balsamic vinegarette; peach iced tea with splenda

S: banana and a handful of peanuts

That's IT so far. I've been in a huge hurry alllllll day so I've been skipping eating, which is not good. I met a friend for lunch who is also on SBD so I was at least able to eat healthy then, but what I had was the ONLY SB-friendly item on the menu! I'm going to make up for it for dinner though... I'm starving!

D: 3-bean vegetarian chili (maybe 2 servings), salad, broccoli

D: I hardly ever have dessert, but maybe tonight FF/SF chocolate pudding or apple with pb.

Have a great rest of the day, everyone!
