Kashi  - TLC - tasty little crackers.  Original 7 grain. Zero grams of Trans fat, no hydrogenated oils, all natural.

Nutritional facts say: 130 calories for 15 crackers, 3 grams of fat, 3 grams of sugar, 2 grams of dietary fiber, and 3 grams of protein.

I just bought the box at Costco and my family loves them, I'd love to enjoy a few here and there too....so do they pass the SB test?

Nicol,

I believe the first ingredient in these crackers is refined flour.

Hi Nicol,

The flour terminology used by manufacturers is so tricky!

Thank you Maggie and Cathy. Yes, the labeling is tricky. They try to make it sound so healthy. Geez, ok I am learning more and more. I will pick up one of the crackers that you recommend today, I love to have crackers sometimes. But I should make sure I stick to the serving size on the box if I do have them right?

Oh that reminds me of another question I have.....Now that

Go by the serving size listed on our breads and cereal list on the board and count that as one startch.

Sara is right, see the recommended serving sizes for Wasa crispbreads, Triscuits, and the other crackers on our South Beach updated Breads & Cereals list.

Thank you, Cathy, Sara, and Maggie! I think I get it now......to be conservative (like I want to do) I should just be adding in 1 startch right now at the beginning of P2 and so that would mean 1/2 a cup of the Fiber One cereal. If I have 1 1/2 cups (like I did the last 2 days, oops) then I have had 3 startch servings for the day and I have over done it. So if 1/2 cup does not fill me up then I should just have a little scrambled egg whites with veggies mixed in and a glass of V8. Does that sound good? I have always been a 'breakfast person', I don't like to eat right when I wake up but I used to enjoy a BIG bowl

I hope all of you had as many questions as me when you 1st started and were just as confused sometimes.

Oh, I had tons of questions in the beginning (and still do have questions, always seeking to know it better!), and was totally confused in the beginning!
