Good Morning Ladies!

I just posted under my Gracie thread about how worried I've been since last night when she first got a temp of 104.  It's a roller coaster worrying about her now having a temp on and off because that's not a good sign.  Thanks everyone for your kind words and prayers.  (((Hugs)))

I'll keep this short for now...

B:  Yogurt & Coffee

L:  chicken breast & green beans

S:  PB yogurt

D:  ww tortilla and lettuce, tomato, lf cheese, grilled chicken

Have a good day everyone.  I have read your posts but haven't had a chance to repond to each lately.  I will come back as often as possible.

Hey Ladies,

(((Suzy))) still sending you all the positive vibes and prayers I can for Gracie and Gandalf. Let me know if there is anything else I can do. I sent a follow up email to Alice for the name at Tufts.

Kristin, I did my first Tammilee workout last night. Got through the abs, but not the buns. I am just not that coordinated. LOL!!! I am not giving up though and will see what other workouts are on the disc.

Here is my day

HiSuzy:Hope to find you in good spirits again.

Lost 2.5 lbs. this week along with a 3" all around inches lost. I'm very happy getting out of that stall I was in for a couple of weeks. I don't know if anyone notice my menu last month,but I found that I didn't add enough carbs back into my diet and that was the reason for plateauing.Hugs Maryann

My menu today:

B=1/2 c Old Fashion Oatmeal with appleauce,cinnamon, 1/2 c 1% milk for tea

S=V8

L=Turkey sand with soup1 S/F Fudgcicle

S=1 apple

D=salad with F.V. 2 sl of turkey Ham Steaks w) 1 mashed sweet potato, 2 c Green & wax bean combo.

Dessert=1 c l/f yogurt

Suzy:

I hope Gracie starts feeling better soon...definitely keep us posted!

So I got some bad news at work yesterday...not only am I definitely traveling again next week (and leaving on Saturday this time, even better), but the raise that was supposed to come along with accepting this new job description got denied by the evil trolls in HR because my next review won't be until October and they told my bosses they have to wait until then to change my salary at all (which is total BS, HR could do it if they wanted to). I think I'll end up getting the last laugh, though, part of the raise was to cover the changeover to being salaried, but since they won't change me I stay hourly and will be collecting mad overtime for all of these trips. And then when they do change me over to salary and give me a raise, it's going to have to at least cover and probably be an increase over what I'm earning in overtime from now until October, hahaha. In the meantime, though, I'm pretty upset with them...they basically tripled my responsbility, have me scheduled to travel from now until the end of time, and don't seem to think they need to pay me for any of it! And if my overtime requests get bounced into comp time instead I'm going to be REALLY p-o'd, because my schedule is too tight now to actually be able to take my normal vacation time, much less extra use it or lose it time.

I'm trying to go with a P1 vegetarian menu this week, since I'm mentally preparing for another tough week on the road next week:

B: Scrambled eggs, skim milk, and quarter-caf coffee

S: Skipped

L: Tomato soup and a garden salad

S: Skipped (was snowing so I didn't go home for lunch to get anything)

D: Not sure yet...TG's sick and hasn't been eating, if it's just me I'll do another salad and maybe another bowl of soup.

Hello sbd friends. I got a good workout today. I did the elliptical after dropping off dd at school but then came home and cleaned house for 3.5 hours. I'm exhausted!!! I've been doing really good lately both with eating and exercising, usually I can't get the two to coincide because when I work out I use it as a reason to eat more. However I wont be weighing myself anytime soon, tom is on the way and I am ultra sensitive to the fluctuation of the scale.

b: vegetable broth w/ spinach

s: green tea w/ slice of ww toast topped w/ light lc cheese

l: smoked pepper sausage link and handful of tortilla chips w/ cheese

s: half peanut butter cookie

d: lemon pepper chicken with salad

s: half peanut butter cookie.

Cheers!

Tricia

p.s. Suzy, thanks for the updates on Gracie. You are both in my prayers.

Good Morning Kristin:Thanks for the congrats.

FV is my abbrevation for Flavored Vinegar( like Balsamic, Rice,Malt & Cidar)
My favorite is the Chinese rice vinegars.I like to use my good fats for other foods instead of using salad dressing. Hope that helps. Hugs Maryann
