Happy Friday P2 Gang!
Hope this finds y'all happy, healthy & well. I haven't had much time lately to be on the computer & have missed chatting with everyone!
Doing okay here. The scale seems to be against me - sudden jumps in weight (no idea why!) but the smaller jeans still fit fine so as long as I'm still shrinking it is all okay! I am feeling a little bummed that it doesn't look that I'll hit my first mini-goal. I thought I had set a reasonable rate of loss but maybe 1 lb a week was too high. I was just going gang busters at first & got swept up in everything. Ever since going off SuperBowl weekend I haven't been losing as well. I ramped up my grains & fruit to 2-3 grains a day & 1 fruit but it doesn't seem to matter. I think, well more like I know, I need to exercise regularly. I'm blowing the dust of my WATP tape & have decided to make myself do it every day(M-F) while dd naps. It is only 20 minutes from start to finish (if that) so I really can't make excuses...well, of course I can but I'll try not to! ( =
Menu for today:
B-oatmeal w/skim milk
S-was really hungry for some reason so I had some l/o tuna salad
L-big salad
S-fruit - apple or pear w/pb or cheese
D-ww spaghetti, homemade sauce & a big salad
De-yogurt
Have a great weekend everyone - I need to go do my tape & work on next week's menus.

Well it sounds like you are doing everything right, your body may just be at an adjusting stage. Give it a little more time.
I've been very faithful to my exercise this week. Right after I drop dd off at school I head straight to the gym. I've been so proud of myself. My weight hasn't done much but I can tell my tummy is not sticking out as much. I always get anxious thinking I should see immediate results but I know that when I exercise my body retains water and I need to remember to replace the water I sweat. I think my body is in a state of shock because of the exercise and it's holding on to everything it's got. I'll win though and my body will eventually have to start giving up some of that fat!!
b: 2 eggs w/ spinach and feta with 2 slices turkey bacon
s: mozz cheese stick
l: not sure yet, cause I'm going to the gym later today. Let dd stay home since it was a short day and spring break next week.

It a good day here. It's spring break so the kids are home today. I've spent the day cleaning house. I lifted weights yesterday so I don't have to worry about that today but am hoping I can get a walk in later when dh gets home from work. I just booked plane tickets to go to Washington DC in April. I would really like to lose a few more pounds before we go so I can buy some cute summer clothes while I am there. I don't have a very good selection of clothes where I live, K-mart and Walmart mainly. I am going to have be be faithful to eating right and make sure I get in my workouts. Wish me luck.

Thanks for the encouragement. I am hoping I can get down below 140 (I'm at 147 now). I have a month to do it as we leave on April 16.

TGIF. It's been a long week. I was up one pound when I weighed Wednesday, but then I started my period, so I am hoping and thinking it's just that- I usually do gain a few pounds a few days before till it's over. It threw me off though (gaining) and I did the dumb response and ate pizza buffet- regular pizza and dessert pizza at lunch. The rest of the week has been good though.
B- turkey bacon and egg on 1 slice of WW bread, V-8
L- subway Atkins wrap- club, soy chips
Snack- chaii tea with soymilk (latte style) lt peach yogurt with a few almonds
S- beef stronganoff thing on WW pasta- from SB cookbook, wine
Snack- Riccotta Mocha I think.

I, too, am on a stall... I was HORRIBLE last weekend (girl's weekend-- anything goes!) and have been perfect this whole week. I've actually gained a lb. and I'm trying to blame it on AF coming next week. Usually even a horrible weekend of eating doesn't make me gain, especially if I'm really good following my binge. We'll see... trying not to get frustrated.
B: V8 and 2 turkey roll-ups w/lf swiss cheese
S: Diet DP and grapes
L: Huge cobb salad with a little blue cheese dressing
S: canteloupe, 1% milk
D: Huge grilled chicken salad with tomatoes and balsamic vinegarette, a glass of red wine

It's probably water weight. I don't think after one binge you can actually gain a real pound, especially after being good for the rest of the week. Keep your chin up you are doing just fine!
