Will this work for me?
| Fri, 04-01-2005 - 7:40pm |
Hello everyone. I had a baby almost 8 months ago. On my own, due to the help of my ever-needing daughter, I have managed to lose most of the baby weight. I haven't bout the book yet, but am thinking about it. I just don't know if it will work for me. You see, I am a VERY picky eater. I don't like many vegetables except corn, green beans, potatoes, and carrots. I love almost all kinds of fruit, though. Do any of you think that this could be the diet for me to lose the last 15 lbs??? If you do, could you maybe give me an insight on what exactly I would be eating especially for phase 1, the hardest part??? I just want to know what I would be eating during this time, such as how many carbs are allowed, if any. Thank you.

Hi Cheyenne, I already answered most of your questions in your posts in a couple of other places.
Yeah, I'm sorry I posted it in two places. Last night when I first posted it, I didn't realize it until after I had already done it, but it was under phase 2. That's why I re-did it. I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you answer more than you had to. By the way, I was just looking at your pictures, and you look AMAZING. I just want to get my mother-in-law over here to have her look at them. She right now, is about the same size as you were to begin with. Last year she started to do this diet, and within a week, she had already gone down a pant size, but gave up because her sons were giving her a hard time and telling her that it isn't healthy to eat that much meat, etc. So, she eventually gave up. She's been walking everyday for about a month and a half now, though. But hasn't lost any weight.
To make matters worse, her ex-husbands' girlfriend is always making sly comments about how big (my mother-in-law) she is and is just really makes me mad. Because she's had six kids to get that way and the girlfriend was almost that big about a year ago anyhow. The only reason she lost so much weight, so fast is because she done drugs to do so. And I think that if my mother-in-law lost the weight, she would finally feel good about herself and that would give her the self-esteem to get back to dating and fulfill her life. She is such a wonderful and caring person and she deserves to be happy. But, unfortunately she is a big procrastinator and I always have to be the one to give her the big push to do anything.
.... Yeah, I'm sorry I posted it in two places....
