I have faired really well for my first day on SBD. The only mishap was an unplanned lunch due to having to take older son to Dr. in a hurry. So I was starving and the little guy yelled for McDonalds. I got him his happy meal. I didn't eat anything at all. When I got home I was hungry but all I had time for was something quick. So I had an apple with some peanut butter on it. I know that from now on I need to have something quick and accessible for emergencies. I do not feel bad about the apple/peanut butter thing. I could have eaten a double cheeseburger...but I didn't! Dinner was lime flavored chicken on the grill with romaine tomatoes onions and peppers, (NO TORTILLA) and a nice serving of fresh asparagus mmm! Sweet treat tonight will be sugar free fudgsicle. Its been a good day in all! I am stoked now! I can do this. Really.
Hugs to all!

You DID do great today! To resist McDs and indulge in an apple w/peanut butter is a huge victory if you ask me. WTG.

I had a pretty good day, too. Only one teeny tiny non-P1 moment when I ate literally 3 triscuits as I put some in a cup for the kids' snacks. I did make the mistake of not eating enough snacks though. I was really busy today and didn't plan ahead very well.

Looking forward to my PB yogurt tonight. But I sure will miss the banana in it. Oh well, it's all for a good cause. :)

See ya tomorrow Queenie!

Leslie

p.s. my mini goal is to get to your starting point (175)! lol

Hi Susan,
Thanks for reminding me about what I CAN eat at McD's. Its just that I really want to rid my body of the excess sodium and that fast food urge once and for all. I want to stop eating the processed foods too. But I will keep this as a reference guide in "my favorites". Just wondering, what is the healthiest fast food restaurant going? With Wendy's having new choices for combo's that include fruit sa;ad, it might be them.

Hi Leslie,
You are doing smashing too! I just know we are going to succeed! We will win the weight battle and become Diva's together!! If you have a struggle let me know and I will let you know if I do. Maybe we can motivate each other. My weaknesses are SWEETS especially chocolate, and probably pizza, but that pizza quiche sounds too good!! I also need to move my butt around every day! With a little one sometimes you get into a frame of mind where its easier to stay home than to try and go out. My Boy is super active and he won't sit still for five minutes. If I go out for a walk he's halfway down the block before I am! I just realized I posted under Phase 2...Oh well I am in phase 1. I did pretty good on the Diet Soda today, it was caffeine free and I limited myself to 2. Thats good for me :) I will check in with you tomorrow!
