I LOVE my milk. Love it. I used to drink at least 1/2 gal/day before starting SBD. Why are we limited to 2-3 cups in p2?

Hi Pinkie,
Milk supplies important nutrients for good health. It has also been found to be beneficial for weight loss efforts. The reason we include two cups of dairy is to meet the recommended Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Increasing the amounts of some foods, even though they are very healthy may stall weight loss efforts. This is the case with nuts and beans. It doesn't mean you can't have more, but may slow down or stall weight loss. If you want to include more milk then recommended, then it is an individual choice.
