This is my plan. I am renewing my pledge to myself to get healthy. I am refreshing my thinking, meal plans, food choices. I am restarting in phase 2 today. I can't go back to phase 1. I tried and I just can't makeself do it. SO I am restarting with a modified phase 2. I "carb" and 1 fruit a day. My question though is
Do sweet potatoes count as a starch or vegetable? I think a starch.
Also, I love the coffee/cappacino type drinks that you mix into hot water. Do any of you know a good legal type one. all the ones I find have a lot of sugar.
Here is my plan for today.
Daily Goal
3 milk/dairy servings( I will just drink this they are not on the plan this is one area I don't have a problem with) 5 serving veggies daily. Drink atleast 64 ounces water. Exercise x 30 min(I really lack in this area)
Breakfast- coffee, 2 egss with turkey bacon and V8
Snack Celery with PB
Lunch Roasted veggies with grilled chicken( I will eat atleast 2 cups of veggies)
Snack Apple and cheese
Dinner Buffalo chicken wrapped around provolone cheese Sweet potatoe fries and asparagus and green beans(cheesy for ds)
Dessert If I need a dessert I will either do hot choc made with cocoa and milk, splenda and vanilla. OR a ricotta thingy.
Ok ladies is this a good day? Is there anything I can change. Not sure about the provolone. I got it from a german store so don't know the fat content.
Good news is Dh likes whole wheat pasta more than the old normal pasta. He says he even prefers it now. This is from the man that idea of veggies are white potatoes, corn and english peas. HE doesn't eat any other kind of veggie. Luckily I don't mind making veggies just for me and kids. I always make him corn or peas. I fixed sweet potatoes the other night and he said I only want a half because I don't think I like them. He ate a WHOLE one. So I am slowly transforming his way of thinking.

I believe sweet potatoes are considered a starch on SBD. As far as coffee drinks go, how about adding DaVinci sugar free syrups to your coffee with some ff half and half. You can even heat up the half and half and put it in a frother to make it creamier. There is a post in the recipe section about flavored creamers for coffee, here it is:
Hey I would love to try to davinci syrups, but I am in Germany. Well atleast for a few more weeks. We will be movng back to the states in a few weeks. I will try them then. THanks for your advice
