Thanks for all the great encouragement and advice. Here is a sample of what I eat during the day.
Breakfast 6:30AM Protein Shake made with 1 c 1% milk, 2 scrambled eggs with 1 tbsp salsa,
Snak 9:3oAM Protein Shake made with 1 c 1% milk, Lunch 12:30PM 1-2 cups salad (lettuce) with 1 cut up chicken breast, 2 tbsp dressing, diet coke, Snack 3:30PM 1/2 cup sugar free jello, 1 tbsp lite cool whip, Dinner 6:30PM ground sirloin burger, green beans, 1 c salad with 1 tbsp dressing. I don't drink water except when I am done working out, but I drink 2-3 diet cokes a day plus Crystal Light iced tea all day long. I always have a drink in my hand. I just started the protein shakes on Tuesday. Been doing some reading about protein and working out, and I think it is a good thing. A several years ago I did WW with counting the points, and I worked out too. But I was constantly hungry on that diet.
On this WOE, I'm not hungry, and sometimes have to remind myself to eat. So I want to make sure my metabolism does not slow down due to not eating enough. Thanks so much for listening to me and helping me out. Karen
