Terrific Tuesday Phase 2 Check In

Good Morning Ladies!
It's rainy here again today. My tulips are loving it at least.
My Patches was diagnosed with asthma yesterday and now I have her on a diet along with me (she is up to 20 pounds!....She was stealing food of her sister's plate no doubt!). She needs to lose weight and she is now also on prednisolone pills to hopefully control the wheezing. I hope she gets better.
Gracie has an appointment on Thursday. It's been 3 weeks since she had a blood test so it's time for another and to weigh her and see if she's improving at all.
I'm trying some P1 days and I need to find time for at least a short walk or some weights at home. Anything is better than nothing, right? And I MUST drink more water!
Breakfast: eggbeaters w/veggies, canadian bacon, coffee
Snack: Mozz stick
Lunch: big salad w/ chicken breast
Snack: lc cheese on celery
Dinner: Unsure yet....probably salmon & veggies, glass milk
Snack: fudgesicle

Good morning everyone! A little crazed at work yesterday and I had 2 Cheetos! They were delicious - luckily my co-worker ate all of them before I could have more! Here's what I have for today:
B: Oatmeal made with 3/4 c. milk w/ 1 tsp PB
S: string cheese
L: spinach salad w/ broccoli, avocado, kidney beans, roasted red peppers, chicken.
S: yogurt
D: veggie burger with spinach and cheese in tortilla
S: SB PBC
Today is my official weigh-in day and the scale was up 1.5lbs. I'm kind of bummed b/c I've been having some small cheats (a few jelly beans, the 2 cheetos, some chips at my mom's, etc.) over the last 4 days. Maybe my small cheats are adding up. What does everyone think? Today is a new day though! Thanks!

Glad to see you back here. I know I talk to you elsewhere, but I missed you here.
Sorry to hear about Patches. Hopefully, she can drop some of the weight and feel better soon.
I am still praying for Gracie every day and will until she is in the clear. Hope all goes well on Thursday for her. I feel that if she has gone this far, then it is not FIP. FIP goes so fast and she really doesn't seem to be declining, just not getting better. I just wish you knew what was going on.
Really splurged yesterday at a friend's house, while watching the Red Sox get their World Sereis Rings and had pizza for dinner. I ate a ton of veggies before hand during the game and haven't had pizza in 3 months, so I guess 4 small slices won't kill me. But back to the plan today.
B - Kashi waffle with turkey bacon, milk and V8
S - pistachios
L - out (probably Grill Salmon Caesar Salad)
S - apple and cheese
D - not sure yet (DH is at the dentist, so not sure what he will want) Maybe just pick up something.

It's beautiful today in Dallas! Unfortunately, my 1-year-old DD is sick and was up 1/2 the night last night and I'm exhausted. Blah.
TOM should show up tomorrow and I'm SO HUNGRY! I'm not craving anything in particular, I just can't get full. Ugh, I hate that!
B: WW English muffin with a tsp. of SF strawberry preserves, banana, milk
S: V-8, yogurt, cheese stick rolled in turkey
L: Leftover tortilla soup (no tortillas) with avacado, low-fat cheese and a dab of FF sour cream, salad, green tea
S: Cottage cheese with vanilla and a few almonds or apple with natural pb
D: Not sure... maybe salmon with broccoli and salad
Dessert: Chocolate fudge FF/SF pudding, milk
Lots and lots of water

Woke up to snow this morning here in Saskatchewan. Atleast it won't stay long. It is cool though.
B: 1 egg, two turkey bacon, V-8, vitamins and green tea
S: Raw veggies with sweet onion dressing
L: Huge salad with lots of veggies, ham & cheese for protein. SB freindly dressing.
Light jello with lf yogurt. Milk
S: Celery with PB
D: Pulled pork, spaghetti squash, diet pepsi, milk
S: Vanilla ricotta

Hi all...
Its been a OK week, I think I overdid starches yesterday, but was SOoooooooo good, and i still lost, so maybe thats ok, it's just i was extremely hungry!! throughout the day. However i resisted, and if i FELT i needed that extra snack i choose a apple, or slice of the kids bannana, vs i'd usually go for that bag of chips in the pantry!
Here's my Outlook for the day!

Okay, I started eating at 4:00 am today...there is a reason. I AM ABSOLUTELY STARVING...there is a reason for that also.

S - ? ??? Something yummy and hopefully healthy
Dinner - whatever I can find fast - But it will be healthy
Desert - nothing on the diet. Girls night out for medical student wives YIPEEEEE!!!
Okay, the reason....I have to have some blood work done today and they require a 12 hour fast before having the blood drawn. Well, I have to take my bp meds and an antibiotic - YOU MUST HAVE FOOD....saturday I didn't have enough in my tummy by the time I ate...needless today, shortly after that, I didn't have anything in my tummy. I didn't want to do that again.
It is 2:40, I can't wait until 3:30 then I can head over to the lab to get the blood work done, it will take almost an hour to get there. Then I am headed to the kitchen. YUM.

I'm there with you on drinking more water. I'm at least drinking some crystal light. I was working out just about every day until I had to take my mom to appointments, I got the stomach bug, and then dd got the stomach bug. So tomorrow, off to the gym. And Yes, some working out is better then doing nothing at all.

You only ate 2 cheetos?! I'd be happy about that. Your weight gain is probably attributed to the salt in your little cheats causing a slight water weight gain.
