Monday Phase 2 Check In

Didn't see a check in this morning so thought I would start one. It really helps me to think about what I'm going to eat today and see where I need to pay attention to my food intake. Plus it's a great way to check in with all the great sbd friends!
Well it's been snowing here in Fairbanks, AK for the past 2 days. It was melting so good last week! Oh well, I guess this is spring in Alaska.
b: 2 slices lean ham with 1 egg. V8
s: lite baby bell cheese
l: Lean Cuisine Salmon with whole grains and veggie meal
s: celery with lite lc cheese
d: baked fish fillet with brown rice and stir fry veggies
s: sf popsicles

Thanks for starting the thread today, Tricia. I like to post my menu as well - tends to keep me on track. Sorry to hear about the weather up in Alaska - spring is sure to hit you soon!
Here is what I have for today:
B: Oatmeal with 3/4c skim milk and 2tsp PB
S: Plain yogurt with SF apricot preserves mixed in.
L: Small turkey burger, 1.5c baby spinach, small WW tortilla
S: cheese stick and apple
D: Curry chicken salad, cheesy broccoli bake, baby spinach salad
S: SB PBC

Spring is SURE to come..it takes a long time to get here to New Hampshire, too, but it's here!
Here's my menu today...
B - 1/2 WW english muffin with one egg over easy and a sprinkle of cheese
S - 10 peanuts
L - HUGE salad with 2% string cheese and turkey bacon on top, with Newman's parmasean garlic dressing...YUM
D - Steak and Asparagus
S - fudgicle
of course lots to drink, milk with dinner...
8 Days till we leave for Disney! WOOHOO!

It's sunny and windy in Dallas. It was a gorgeous weekend!!!
B: Diet Dr. Pepper, 1/2 banana (in a hurry!)
S: None-- at the gym
L: Huge salad with BV dressing, Kraft SBD Southwestern Chicken wrap, 1/2 cup cottage cheese, milk
S: V-8, red bell pepper with hummus
S: Apple with natural pb, milk
D: Huge salad with chicken, black beans, cheese, BV dressing, yogurt
Lots and lots of water and probably another Diet Dr. Pepper in there somewhere
I also worked out at the gym for TWO hours (one with my trainer and then the other on my own). Ouch!!!

Congratulations Kim! Way to go with the exercise.
How do you like the Kraft SBD Chicken wrap? I've been eating the Lean Cuisine Whole grain meals and I'm pretty impressed. I like them all, except the lemon chicken has a little too much ginger for me.

Hi! Thanks for the congrats. I'm working SO hard. I am hoping working with the trainer will yield more results.
Hmmm... the chicken wrap was sort of okay. I think it could be better, but in a pinch, it worked out fine. I've tried a couple of Kraft SBD frozen entrees and they are better, IMO.

I saw the meal thing today at the store and after looking at it I decided to get the precooked Louis Rich seasoned chicken breast. This way I can either cut it up and put it on a salad or I can wrap in ww tortilla and add veggies. Seems like the same thing.

Tricia, I think you made a good decision about buying your own wrap stuff instead of the Kraft SBD one. I bet yours will be way better!
You're right about the trainer. She is so good! And she really works me HARD, which I need! And so true about the money-- I'm not about to skip it if I'm paying that kind of dough to work out! :-)
