What does limited mean?

Hello everybody. I am a BIG fan of potatoes and corn. I know that these are "limited" items on this diet. But I was wondering exactly what does limited mean? How often am I allowed to indulge in them, once a week? once a month, once a year? I love my corn and potatoes and I'm not sure I can totally wipe them out from my diet.

Here's a response from the nutritionist about "limited":

As the nutritionist said, it's really about you. I am still in Phase II, but I occasionally have potatoes, corn, refined grains, and sweets. I'd even say on average I have at least one of these per week. And it hasn't caused me to gain . . . although I suppose it could be stalling my loss.

That's great advice and a good way to think about it. I think it's better to know I can have something once in a while. It's hard to think I can never have certain things again. Boy, I'd kill for a beer right now, but I'm being good!
