Scared to start Phase 2!

Hey guys! Today was the last day of Phase 1 and this morning I weighed 116 pounds. I'm soooo nervous about starting Phase 2!! I'm gonna have an apple at lunch tommorrow, but I'm still really scared!! I don't want my weight loss to relapse!! AHH!! x0x

Don't be scared! Phase 2 ROCKS! Just start adding those starches/fruits in slowly and see how your body reacts to it all and you'll be just fine. How much more do you want to lose? How much did you lose on Phase 1? Phase 2 has been been a slow process for me, but I don't mind so much because I don't feel like I'm on a diet AT ALL. I also don't have much to lose, so I knew it would be slow and I'm okay with that because it means the weight is more likely to stay off for good.

I know the feeling. I was really apprehensive when it was time to start phase 2 too. Phase 2 is very important because our bodies need the nutrients found in fruits and whole grains. The key is to gradually reintroduce those healthy carbs. Here is how to do it:
Week one and two: Add in two good carb choices daily. We suggest you reintroduce fruit at lunch, dinner, or as a snack, but it's not the best choice first thing in the morning at breakfast. We recommend a high-fiber cereal for breakfast. Week three and four: move to four good carbs choices daily: 1-2 fruits and 1-2 starches.

I agree with Kim, P2 rocks!!! It's so much less restrictive and I actually feel like I'm eating normally!
But, like Kim said, if you don't have that much more to lose, it's going to take some time for the rest of it to come off. Of the 13lbs that i had to lose when I started P2, I've lost 3 BUT I knew it would be this way. Like Karen said, start adding in a fruit and a grain a day and see how it goes. Before you know it, you'll be eating 3 grains AND 3 fruits a day and loving it!
