Hello everyone and welcome to the weekend. I'm getting ready to have a nice cup of coffee.  Anyone have some fun plans today? We're spring cleaning and rearranging the bedroom. Ugghhh! Oh well we have stuff we really need to get rid of.


b: coffee, donut (small splurge) eggs w/ spinach


s: v8 w/ lite baby bell cheese


l: grilled chicken on ww tortilla w/ cheese spinach olives w/ a little lite done right ranch


s: banana w/ mozz stick


d: not sure, going to mom and dads for dinner and a movie


s: ??

Hi Everyone!

We don't have much planned for the weekend, which is a nice change! I'm taking DD swimming at the gym tonight so that should be fun.

B: 1 HB egg white, ww toast with Smart Balance, strawberries, milk
S: Diet Dr. Pepper
L: salad with chicken and tomatoes with vinegarette dressing, iced tea, 1/2 orange blow pop (this was NOT planned, but my 1 year old was licking it and it started melting-- what's a girl to do? ;-)).
S: Lauging Cow cheese wedge, pear, vanilla yogurt
D: At the gym's cafe: Tuna salad on greens, cucumber, tomato and maybe a FF/SF iced vanilla latte from Starbucks

Lots of water!

Exercise: 30 minutes on eliptical, 30 minutes lower body weight training

I'm back, I've been MIA for a couple of months,I was lurking and got lazy not posting. I'm posting here instead of the Chit Chat section,as I like posting to a thread instead of to a board.I'm still on the South Beach and I'm struggling trying to get the last 3 lbs of pre-cruise weight off before getting down to my new goal of 140.I read in one of the Chats with Dr. A. he says that if your blood chemstry is healthy your weight will stop,and if you want to continue lossing you have to do vicious exercise.So I'm going to talk with my doctor if he really wants me to go down to 140(BWI-24) Hope every is Ok and doing well. This is the best way of eating and I never give it up. Hugs :) Maryann

Sunday Menu Phase 2
B=High fiber cereal with strawberries & 1c 1% milk. Tea.
S=V8
L=eggbeaters with bacon on 2 sl of WW bread.
S=apple
D=2 boaca burgers on 2 WW buns with 12 pcs. Alexia french fries(with olive oil) Large salad with l/c dressing.
Dessert 1 c yogurt.

Thank you for the Excitement~ I needed that. I need to remember that 4 pounds in a week is really amazing. Especially since I did it without starving myself!

Hello Maryann!! It's nice to hear from you! I'm glad you decided to check in. That's really exciting that you are down to your last 3 pounds!!! Outstanding! You say Pre-Cruise so you haven't gone yet? Where are you going? That's what I'm doing too, I'm trying to lose my weight (well for me of course) but then I want to go on a fabulous cruise!!!


I got really slack about checking in and I've gained all my weight back that I lost. I think checking in really helps me to stay focused and when I read that others are trying so hard to eat sbd I try harder. Plus I like the positive reinforcement. Please feel welcome to check in with us, if anything to let us know how you are doing, it doesn't have to be about the sbd.
