Terrific Tuesday Phase 2 Check In...

Didn't see it posted yet, so I thought I'd post a check in. I hope everyone is doing well today! Because of my minor indescretion yesterday (CPK-- Yum and very worth it!), I'll be doing mostly P-1 today. Here's what I've got planned...

B: 4 HB eggwhites with a little hummus; V-8, yogurt (actually this is flavored so I guess it's technically P-2)
S: celery with pb, milk
L: tuna salad on greens, BV dressing
S: Red pell pepper with hummus
D: Mexican chicken soup, baked portobello mushrooms with goat cheese and pine nuts
Dessert: yogurt

Exercise: Today is abs, biceps, back and shoulders and 30 minutes of cardio (either bike or eliptical)

Hope you all have a great day!!!

Today is Day 2 of Ph II for me. Here's what I've done, and the plan for the rest of the day.

B - fruit smoothie
S - SBD meal replacement bar - cinnamon creme
L - large salad w/crabmeat
S - 1 T. peanut butter
D - Bob Evans - not sure, but something basic - grilled chicken and side of veggies
S - another smoothie, but no fruit for this one, maybe that other T of PB I have to spare

Come to think of it, I don't really get that much dairy. I used to have my bowl of ff plain yogurt in the evening topped w/ blueberries and Kashi. Maybe I should start having that in the evening again, and maybe that will also fill me a little more and will keep me from wanting more snacks. Thanks for the advise! I'll let you know how I do.

If you don't mind me asking how do you make your smoothies?? I love them, but can never figure out how to make them so they taste good.

You are only on day 2 of P2 and you've alreay lost that much weight??? Wow! Great job!

I should add my disclaimer on the weight thing, I just get tired of typing it all in, and I'm not going to lose all that weight and not call it my starting weight. I did Atkins for 14 months prior to starting SBD. I was stalled for the last 6 months, which is why I switched. I lost 42.5 lbs. on Atkins, so I started SBD at 217.5.

On the smoothie, this is what I do:

1/2 C. FF SF plain yogurt
1/2 C. skim milk
1/2 C. fruit (I like 1/4 C. raspberries, 1/4 C. strawberries)
Splash of SF vanilla syrup (maybe 2 T.?)
1/2 C. crushed ice
2-3 packets of Splenda

If I've already done my fruit for the day (I'm at one serving), I sub 1 Tbsp. peanut butter for the fruit, and sometimes add a little baking cocoa. This is very good, too.

Oohhh, I bet the peanut butter and cocoa is really tasty! I'll have to try that. Thank you for the recipe. I'll let you know how it turns out!
