Hi everyone! I don't know about you but this week is flying by. Unfortunately my weight isn't flying down the scale. I had a few set backs yesterday (M.D.) but I'm not going to let it get me down! I'm suffering from a little bloating today so I'm no going to weigh in this morning. I don't want to sabotage myself, cause if there is a slight gain I get down on myself...

b: 2 eggs w/ spinach, yellow pepper and feta. 2 turkey sausage links.

s: ltlc on wasa

l: whole grain lean cusine

s: lite baby bell

d: fish with veggies and brown and whid rice

s: smoothie w/ strawberries, ff milk, ff plain yogurt. ( I tried this last night and it was yummy!)

Hugs,

Tricia.

Hi Tricia,

I am trying to only weigh myself once a week. I found if I weigh every day and see weight drop I tend to think I have a "cushion" and can have a "cheat". My cheating are killing me right now.

B: 4 oz SF Strawberry yogurt

S: 2 California wraps

L: Salad & Spaghetti

S: Grapes

D: Chicken Chili Verde

S: SF fudgesicle

I am also having 4 pieces dark chocolate in between a snack.

Morning all! Its been a long week here - really ready for Friday! Ds was home sick two days, then dd's preschool had a field trip to the zoo yesterday and I chaporoned...it was a LONG day (one of my kids in my group got sick and started throwing up, then after we got her taken care of, my dd got literally attacked by a goat in the petting zoo...the whole day is almost funny now when I think about it, but at the time I was just exhausted by it all!)
And today its raining (VERY rare in the southern California desert at the end of April to have rain!)

Today -
breakfast - oatmeal made with 1 cup milk
snack - slices of ham and sting cheese
lunch - pork fajitas, leftover roasted veggies
snack - apple with peanut butter
dinner - was supposed to be salmon and veggies, but with the rain I think I will do split pea soup, homemade ww bread and salad
desert - yogurt w/berries

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hi Everyone!

Tricia, I only weigh once a week (Mondays) because it makes me crazy to do it more often. I analyze that scale like crazy and it's not good for my sanity! Hang in there, Girl-- you're doing wonderfully!

B: Banana, Diet Dr. Pepper (In a hurry! What else is new?!.)
S: None-- at gymnastics with my DD
L: Goat cheese quesadillas with green chili salsa (OMG, this was SOOOOOO good!), mango slices, milk
S: V-8, red bell pepper with hummus
D: Leftover Crunchy Bean Skillet and baked portobello mushrooms with goat cheese and pine nuts, salad with balsamic vinegarette dressing
Dessert: Apple with pb, yogurt

Exercise: 45 minutes of cardio (eliptical/bike), 45 minutes of upper body weight training (shoulders, back, biceps)

Have a great day, Everyone!!!

Aimee, that really makes sense to weigh just once a week. Maybe I'll try that. I'm just very anxious and it's almost a ritual to weigh myself every morning. Maybe I'll make it a ritual to weigh just once a week.

Good job planning that walk. I went to the gym and did 45 min on the Elliptical trainer. Boy that was a rough one! But it felt really good!

Andrea! <<>> Poor thing, what a lot to deal with. I know what you mean about fitting in exercise when you are all alone and trying to raise kids. I only had one dd while my hubby was gone for 6 months and that was enough at the time. I don't think I could handle more. It's amazing how quickly that lunch break goes by when you try to do all your running around.
