Thursday Already? Phase 2 Check IN

Hi everyone! I don't know about you but this week is flying by. Unfortunately my weight isn't flying down the scale. I had a few set backs yesterday (M.D.) but I'm not going to let it get me down! I'm suffering from a little bloating today so I'm no going to weigh in this morning. I don't want to sabotage myself, cause if there is a slight gain I get down on myself...
b: 2 eggs w/ spinach, yellow pepper and feta. 2 turkey sausage links.
s: ltlc on wasa
l: whole grain lean cusine
s: lite baby bell
d: fish with veggies and brown and whid rice
s: smoothie w/ strawberries, ff milk, ff plain yogurt. ( I tried this last night and it was yummy!)

Just another way of looking at the weighing daily vs weekly - for me I like to weigh everyday. It has actually saved me a lot of stress...for example, all week I will be 153, then all of a sudden in one day I am 156. It is physically impossible to gain 3 lbs of fat in 24 hrs, so because I had just weighed the day before I KNOW for sure that its just water and/or undigested food, not a "real" gain. But if it had been a week since I weighed, I wouldn't know this and then I would be wondering, is is fat or water? Because you CAN gain a few pounds in a weeks time.
So what I do is weigh everyday, make one day a week (Friday) my "official" day that I write down (but even then, if Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs I was one weight, then Friday I am up all of a sudden, I wait another day or two and take that as my official weight) As long as I see an overall trend downward, its okay. I've learned to just roll with the daily fluctuations and actually get used to them (I can often guess if my weigh will be up or down before I step on based on how I feel, what I ate the day before, how my ring is fitting, etc.)
Its also helped me see my pattern of loss (I generally lose a lb over the weekend, then it goes back up on Tues or Wed, then levels back down by Friday)
So, it can HELP some people to weigh everyday - IF you can keep it from making you too crazy!

Yes indeedy! I hope so too. Make sure you drink plenty of liquids when you take that. All that extra fiber should get you mooooovin soon! :)
