Hello everyone
I bought a couple of new things from the grocery store and I need some info on them.
The sugar free preserves...how much can I have..is it considered a treat and also as a fruit serving?
Hummus..never really ate it before I got some that says olive oil and garlic. How much and what do you eat this with.veggies?
Concous...This was on the ok list I beleive. How much??
Also what kind of bread does everyone buy because I can only find the Ezekial brand thats SBD friendly.
Also I heard a few people mention Kashi Waffles or something like that. I could not find them.
Yesterday I made the roasted broccoli. My husband LOVED it..I loved it too but he nearly ate it all...he could not stop talking about it.
Well thats all I can think of for now.

Yoyo, I can answer a few things... I love SF preserves, but I use it so rarely that I don't know how it's counted. Same with couscous (my guess is 1/2 cup). I'm sure someone much more SB-seasoned than me can help you there. About the hummus... I LOVE hummus and one of my fave snacks is hummus with red bell pepper. It's also good on celery, wasa crackers, triscuits or even baked ww tortillas. You can also use it as a sandwich spread. It counts as a legume. My favorite ww bread is Pepperidge Farm 9 grain bread. And I love, love, love Kashi waffles. I eat those occasionally with SF syrup and fruit and they are really good. I get them at Kroger in the Dallas area.

Yum-- we also love roasted broccoli! Make a double or triple batch next time! ;-)

Have a great weekend!

Thanks Kim! We don't have Kroegers out here...(I'm in Orange County Ca) but I am going to check to see if they have the waffles at Trader Joes. I was thinking of using the SF jelly in the yogurt..maybe. As for the hummus..it counts as a veggie? Meaning I can eat as much of it as I want? LOL!

I'm in southern CA too, so no Kroger - but I have found the Kashi waffles at Super WalMart, Ralph's and Von's. I didn't see them last time I was Trader Joe's.
