My son was eating a banana and I just happened to have some peanut butter out so I tried a bite of my sons banana dipped in a little PB! OH MY GOSH..it was SOOOOOOOO good! It is the closest thing to a tasty desert I've had since I started. Can I eat these two together? I would love to have this as a dessert. Or even a afternoon snack. So long as I only use the right amount of PB?? Please tell me this is ok! Afterall, I bought the wrong darn waffles! Whatcha' think?

I eat peanut butter with my apples all the time, but I've never tried it on bananas. It sounds good, I'll have to try it next time I have bananas. From what I understand, it's actually good to eat a "carb competitor" (such as peanut butter or cheese) with your fruit.

Obviously your not an Elvis fan or this wouldn't be a new combo to you!

I used to LOVE peanut butter and banana sandwhiches when I was a kid, in fact my kids have them about once a week (on ww bread of course!)

My dd's favorite snack as a toddler was sliced banana rounds spread with a dab of peanut butter on it (she called it "banana crackers" - like crackers with pb, but instead it was bananas)

I often have PB and banana on whole grain bread or a bagel for breakfast.
