Starting Phase 2 update on big bet

I wanted to update those of you who remember the bet that I have with my co-worker. I completed phase 1 of SBD yesterday and depending on which scale I stand on I've lost between 8-10 pounds. This is a fantastic loss for me because I've gone from 140lb's to 130-132 lb's. I only have 5 pounds to go to reach my goal of 125 and win the bet(money for a trip to Cancun)! The SBD is really amazing, and being on it was not torture, it just feels natural now to eat well. My skinny pre-preg clothes all fit and some are starting to to feel loose. I would honeslty stay at this size if I had not made the bet to go down to 125 but I did and so I have to keep losing. I want to say good luck to everyone out there trying to stay focused, it's worth it to remain steadfast, there is nothing more satisfying than reaching your goal or pulling on those jeans without jumping around or squirming, nothing compares not even a buttery croissant oozing with chocolate (my FAV) lol. Anyway, I am becoming long winded so let me get to the point, I am starting phase 2 and I am kicking up my workout with the NYC ballet workout and I can't wait to see how my body changes next. Good luck beach buddy's!

Hi - it's the exact workout that the ballet dancers do every day at the NYC ballet. It's similar to pilates, it's a lot of stretching and really works your abs, legs, and upper body. It's a little difficult to follow if you're not familar with the basic ballet moves but after a few times you can follow it. It's not high impact and it's VERY relaxing but you feel all of your muscles stretching and working. You feel very graceful after. I decided to do it, one because I took ballet for many years and I was in amazing shape, beautiful posture etc, and two because I wanted my body to be sculpted but not bulky like it tends to get from working out. I wanted a more lean look. I will let you know how it works out. I did it last night and I don't feel sore but I can feel my muscles were worked. I also slept like a baby last night, the music and the moves really relaxes you and it's a nice way to close out the day.

Dee, that's fabulous! Start packing, girl! Cancun will be so wonderful!!!

Hey, how is your co-worker doing? What kind of diet/exercise is he doing?

Keep up the great work! You'll love Phase 2. Doesn't feel like a diet at all!

Hi :-) I just noticed we have the same goals, my goal is to get to 125 too. My co-worker is doing a low fat diet, he's kind of just watching what he eats. He has really bad eating habits so he's kind of cutting down on his sweet cereals and sodas...I want to tell him to do SBD but I know he'll lose weight on it and I want to WIN...hahahaha, I am terrible. He started working out too but so have I and I'm just hoping to shed these last 5 pounds now, wish me luck!
