It is ok to have the sugar in the yogurt? l/f 1% milkfat plain yogurt has 16g sugar per 1 container. That is allowed?

The sugar in yogurt is natural sugar from the lactose. As long as there is no "added" sugar in the ingredients, its fine. My fat-free, plain yogurt also has about 16g sugar.
But I'm not sure about the 1%? I believe we are supposed to only use the fat-free.

Nonfat plain yogurt is the best choice.
