I hope you all have a wonderful day today.   Is everyone doing any exercise today?  I hope to walk since it's sunny out. :-)

I'll post my menu later on....

Happy Thursday! I am happy to report that I am finally back down to my end of Phase I weight. I lost 4 lbs. in phase I, and then immediately gained back 3.5 in my first week on phase 2. But it turns out it must have been something I ate. I started taking the Metamucil before meals, and in 3 days I'd lost the 3.5 lbs. I'm hoping for a real loss for my 2nd week on Phase II when I weigh on Monday. And then I'm looking forward to adding a 2nd fruit and grain.

B - oatmeal, fruit smoothie
S - cheese stix
L - chicken caesar salad
S - veggies and dip, skim milk steamer w/SF toffee syrup
D - grilled hamburgers, brussel sprouts, salad
S - SF FF pudding

Hope everyone has a great day!

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Today will be a busy day here - lots of cooking to do! Already posted about this above, but we are having a big Cinco de Mayo block party/pot luck tonight. I'm bringing carnitas, homemade refried beans and chili rellenos (made with ww flour - hopefully no one will know the difference - everyone on my block is Mexican, my chili rellenos usually pass as authentic though...but I don't know what they would think if I tried to make them "healthy" LOL!!) I also have a ton of yard work to do, the food table will be in our driveway because its the biggest - so I need to sweep it up, mow the lawn and I want to plant some new flowers along the edges.
It'll be SO hard to resist the margaritas tonight...dh will be bartender and he makes the BEST margaritas (all from scratch with real lime juice) Plus I know he will just go ahead and go off plan tonight and have a tamale and a margarita. *sigh* I don't know yet what I will do.
So far that is the only thing I don't like about SBD - instead of looking forward to parties and celebrations I find myself dreading them and then not having any fun because I am stressing about what to eat, do I cheat, etc.

Today:
breakfast - Kashi waffle, yogurt w/peanut butter
snack - string cheese w/turkey
lunch - leftover Lentil-Barley-Mushroom casserole, roasted brussel sprouts
snack - apple w/peanut butter
dinner - carnitas, ww tortilla, ?????
desert - ?????? (hopefully not a margarita or flan or something!)

Hola' P2er's!

I just realized the older I get holidays like Cinco de Mayo and St. Patricks day don't have the same appeal anymore.

Hi Everyone!

Suzy, I'm so happy to hear that Gracie got good test results. And I know you're excited about today being your last day at that horrible job. Hooray! When do you start your new job?

Here's what I have planned for today...

B: Banana "shake"
S: Diet Dr. Pepper, slice lf swiss cheese
L: Kraft SB 4 cheese pizza, salad with BV dressing
S: Red bell pepper, hummus, pear or apple
D: Leftovers: Sauteed shrimp and scallops in white wine sauce, sweet potato, roasted green beans
Dessert: SF/FF chocolate pudding

I'm also in yet another stall... even though I've been really good for the most part and am exercising my $%& off, literally. TOM is next week, but this stall has been going on for weeks now so I'm not sure I can blame that. I'm cutting out pb this week to see if that helps. I'm going to cry if that's the culprit. Sigh.

Exercise: 45 minutes of cardio (bike/eliptical cross training), abs

Have a great day, Everyone!!!

Hi Tricia! I'm so glad you're feeling better today. I hate to "see" you so down and hard on yourself. I hope your appointment tomorrow goes well and that you connect with him/her. It makes a world of difference.

Hang in there, Sista.

Hugs!
