I am on Phase II and have been for several months but feel like I am really on Phase III. I stick to the Phase II menu most days, but definitely allow myself refined grains and sweets a few times a week. I am wondering if that is sabotaging my weight loss and I should return to a strict Phase II.
I am 5'5" and I am holding steady at 125 pounds. I also excercise pretty intensely 5 or 6 days a week. I know that I am at a healthy weight, but my original goal was 120. I will occasionally drop down 2 or 3 pounds, but I never stay there long.
I have tried tweaking my menu to add more or less whole grains, more or less fruit, and more veggies. But my weight will not budge.
Do you think it's the "cheats" that are screwing me up? I don't feel like they cause cravings to return, but maybe they are keeping this weight on. Or maybe I am just at a healthy weight and I should stop worrying about it . . .
