Ok..I bought some more bread. My husband gets to enjoy the other one that I can't eat..The new one I bought is called Valley Grains 100% stone ground whole wheat.1 serving size is 1 slice (42g) 3g fiber per slice. Made whith ww flour. If this is not right then I give up...lol...
If it is right how much grain is considered a serving on the beach?
Thanks again everyone...

If you want to keep trying to find a bread, the Aunt Millie's varieties that are made with organic flour may be a good option. They're made with whole wheat flours of various types, and contain no high fructose corn syrup at all. They range in fiber from 3g to 5g per serving, depending on type. The 1 slice serving size ranges from 44g to 53g, so 2 slices a day would cover the recommended grain intake. Also, per a later post of yours, maybe your stores will have this since they don't have the Pepperidge Farms. :)

If this hadn't had the high fructose corn syrup, would it *really* be okay? It's 3g fiber per a 42g serving. I thought it was supposed to be 3g fiber per 1 oz (30g) serving, and I thought the exception was made for english muffins, because there isn't a better option available in english muffins. But there *are* breads that have 3g fiber per 30g. Just trying to clarify, as I find the whole bread thing a little confusing.

Lora,

Yes, a 30 gram serving needs to have 3 grams of fiber.

Yes, agreeing with Cathy, there are better choices.
