Hi all, hope no one minds I start the thread today. This week is going by so sloooow here, can't wait for the weekend.
Today I weighed my self (but tomorrow is my "official" weigh in) and I was down to 149.5! That would be 2 lbs this week and its the first time I have been under 150 in 5.5 years! BUT - I guess it could just be a fluke and tomorrow could be higher...so cross your fingers for me that its still 149.5 tomorrow!

breakfast - Kashi Go Lean, milk
snack - string cheese, soy shake
lunch - leftover pork roast, green beans, ww bread
snack - apple w/peanut butter
dinner - crockpot Coq au vin, mashed cauliflower, roasted broccoli
desert - maybe some popcorn while watching Survivor

MichaelAnn - you're doing so awesome! I've unfortunately been stuck at 154-155 since the beginning of April! What is your secret!?? lol! Here's what I have for today:
B: Oatmeal w/ 3/4c skim milk, small banana, 1tbsp PB
S: Nuts
L: Spinach salad w/ broccoli, kidney beans, avocado, chicken, roasted red peppers, small WW tortilla.
S: FF plain yogurt w/ apricot preserves
D: Not sure yet.
S: Fudgesicle
I'll be at the gym for 1hr today - walking/jogging for 45min, abs 15min.

Thanks Katie - no secret really - its just that I have (had) a lot to lose! I started out in the "obese" category, and I'm still 10 lbs out side the "healthy" range for my height. It has been going VERY slow lately (for example when I started I lost about 10-15lbs each month, April I only lost 4! So far in May its been only about 1/2lbs a week (not doing anything different food wise and excercising MORE!) So I fully believe the closer you are to a healthy weight, the slower it goes, and if you are within the "healthy" range already, it goes even slower!
I think the last 10lbs are the hardest. You'll make, hang in there!

I weighed today and I finally busted through 134 and am at 133. This shouldn't be that big of a deal, but I've been hanging out at 134 for weeks and weeks, no matter what I do. Well, I guess I'll get comfy at 133 because, with the way my body works, I'll be here awhile. The good news is that I'm buying size 6's very consistently now and even got a size 4 skirt from Old Navy (I know they run big, but who cares! ;-)). I took my measurements and let me say, for those of you who are not doing this, DO IT! I've lost 1 1/2" in my hips and 1 1/4" in my waist in 6 weeks. Talk about encouraging when that scale won't budge!
Anyway, here's what I have planned for the day...
B: Scoop of cottage cheese with Vanilla Hazelnut SF DaVinci syrup, almonds and blueberries, V-8
S: Leftover vegetable frittata (asparagus, red bell pepper, onion)
L: Tuna salad on greens with BV dressing, yogurt
S: Banana "shake"
D: Going out with friends to my fave Mexican restaurant. Planning on skipping the chips and salsa and getting the Modern Chicken-- grilled chicken with grilled vegetables. Still debating on the cocktail (want the margarita, might get red wine...)
No exercise today.

Thanks for starting the thread. I was MIA yesterday,and didn't post my menu.Nothing really new here.except for our stupid weather we're going to the frezzing point or below,YIKEES My poor flowering plants. Alway I step forward two steps back.Don't want to burst your bubble but I also was 149.5 and the the next couple of days I W-I and when up .5 and I was ready to scream.
Todays Menu:
b-2 pancakes with applesauce and milk for te
s-yogurt
l- WW pita pizza salad with dress.
s-orange
d-salad with fv L/C spa Pork with Cherry sauce,green & wax beans 1/2 c spetzel

MichaelAnn - that's wonderful! I have started to weigh nearly every day. I was a once a week, or even less, weigher, but I've had a lot of fluctuation since starting SBD, and weighing every day is helping me get a grip on foods that might be causing me to hold water or bloat or whatever, and much to my surprise, I'm less worried about my weight being up when I weigh every day than when I weigh once a week. It was totally the opposite when I was on WW several years ago. I became obsessed with the scale. Must be that I'm older and wiser.
Anyway - my theory is, my official weight for the week is the lowest number I hit in the last 7 days. By my method, you're 149 this week no matter what the scale says on weigh day. Go girl!
