Canned Beans?

Sorry if this is common knowledge, but I have been eating canned black beans, white beans and just now realizing they do have sugar in them.
So, I am wondering what beans do you all eat? DRY only?
Also, half and half regular seems to have less sugar than the nonfat half and half.
thanks

Just look at the ingredients on the cans.

I've noticed that about canned beans, too. I figure it's in the thick stuff they pack them in, so I just rinse them really well before I heat and serve them. I've been eating the canned beans since I started.

I finally cooked a bunch of dry beans in the crockpot last night, so they went in small containers in the freezer this morning. Much cheaper than even canned beans, and just as handy!

There are canned brands that don't have added sugar.

Thank you. I posted this down below but wondering why black bean soup recipe is listed only in Phase II and not Phase I, beans of all kinds are okay in all phases correcty?
