I haven't started Phase II but have a question about breads, is there an more update list of bread brands? I don't see Orrowheat, cept bagels on that one list.

Is whole wheat a good thing, or must it say whole grain
Any processed flour is bad right? stay away....

Breads can be decieving can't they , esp. when you are new at this.

Thanks

Hi,

Here is a link to an updated breads and cereals list. Read the list as well as the posts that follow.

As a general rule of thumb, anything that says enriched is a no-no. It means that the food was manufactured in some way that removed the 'good stuff'. An ingredients list may say whole wheat or whole grain as long as it does not say enriched.

Hi Lizzy,

Please note at the top of our breads & cereals list, that the list isn't necessarily all-inclusive.
