Hey, I've got a question. I've started using FitDay to put in what I eat everyday, and I'm wondering if the category for Alcohol is the same as Sugar. I'm guessing it is, but figured I better ask. Thanks for any help!

No, I don't think so.

Well, I guess the issue is this: there is no place to enter in the sugar amount in your food on the page where you enter in a custom food and you have to enter all of the calories, fat, sodium, etc in that specific custom food. There is a place to enter alcohol, though. I guess I don't know if they mean alcohol as in sugar alcohol or what.....otherwise you just don't type in the sugar, I guess!?!? Does that make sense? Hmmm.

Fitday doesn't have a place to input sugars. It only differentiates between the complex carbs (fiber) and simple carbs (sugar, white flour, etc.). The only time you would enter something under alcohol is if you had something containing alcohol. It wouldn't work to input sugar there, because a gram of sugar only has 4 calories whereas a gram of alcohol has 7 calories, so they do not calculate the same into your total. If you want to keep track of your sugar grams, you would just have to do it by writing them down and doing the math.
