Starting over AGAIN!!

I am once again, determined to make this work and I am going to start tomorrow! I'm going food shopping tomorrow and I am sick of feeling so bloated and gross - all these successes are really encouraging me to do SB!
just wanted to chime in with my two cents, and say thanks for all the great info on this board!

Hi Larissa,
I often try and stop diets too! This one has worked for me (I didn't lose that much but I stuck out the 2 weeks). Here's what helped me:
1. Don't view South Beach as a diet. See it as a new way to eat and live life w/o the bloat.
2. Tell yourself "I can do this for 2 weeks." If you think about it, in the span of our lives, 2 weeks isn't that long.
3. Remember, in 4-5 days, withdrawl from sugar will be gone and your cravings will be diminshed.
4. If you do crave sweets, but some sugar free fudgcicles or eat some natural peanut butter on celery. Nuts are good too but watch how much you eat (I tend to overeat these!)
