Low Carb Ice Cream...

Is this okay? I was reading a past thread that recommended not eating low carb ice cream, but it seems like all of the sugar free stuff is also low carb. What do you think?
Thanks!

This particular fudge bar has 25 calories over the recommended 75 per serving for sweet treats.

I haven't yet. Can you recommend some good brands to try? I have to admit, I'm not doing South Beach to lose weight; it's mostly to control my blood sugar since I'm hypoglycemic. But, I love it and I think it's the best thing out there! I'm also doing it to support my partner, who is trying to lose weight. So I want to make sure to have good stuff in the house for both of us.

Any good cold treat suggestions? Thanks!!

Hi Suzy, it kind of depends on what's available where you are.

I am in P3 and I do eat Breyers 'no sugar added' or 'carbsmart' ice cream. Not the bars, the ice cream.

Heres what the Chocolate Peanut butter flavor nutritional facts say:

serving 1/2 cup (but in all honesty I usually have 1 cup

Hi Nicol,

There are 100 calories in 1/2 cup and you're eating 1 cup.

Yes Cathy I realized that. So I guess I have been a bit of a bad girl, hehehee. Oh well, its really my only splurge and yes it not affecting my weight, but I bet I would lose even more if I did not eat it. I would eventually like to get to 130 lbs, right now I am 133 and I have alot of muscle
