Crunchy!?!????

Any other crackers allowed on Phase II besides Triscuit low fat?

Also, any other ideas for satisfying the need for Crunch? As in replacing chips, crackers, etc?

When I read menus here I don't see many if any of you eating crackers as a snack. I look forward to P2 and being able to eat a few crackers with my laughing cow cheese.

I did a search for crackers and only triscuits turned up.

Thanks again

In phase-2 you can also bake whole wheat pitas to make your own chips.

I LOVE crunchy things, texture is really important to me in foods - almost more important than taste!
Like Cathy and Susan said - you can bake ww tortillas or pita to make then crispy. My favorite thing to do this with is the Flat Out Flatbread (the multigrain). I brush it with olive oil and garlic, cut it into triangles and broil it. My kids actually request this over chips or crackers! I just served them Sun night to dip in soup.
Another thing we do is Parmesan cheese crisps -

These are great dipped in soups, or to "mop" up sauces or as a crouton replacement on salads.
