Good Morning! Today is my last day of doing nothing before the kids activities get out of control! Starting tomorrow there is something almost every day until school gets out! From Book Parties, field trips, graduations, Water Day, swim parties...and of course I am volunteering at all of them! Then the day after school gets out my dad is coming to visit. Yikes!
So today I am spending some extra time cooking and try a bunch of new recipes, I can't wait for dinner, its sounds SO good!

Breakfast - Kashi waffle, yogurt w/pb
snack - string cheese w/turkey
lunch - tuna salad wrap, big salad
snack - apple with peanut butter
dinner - Mojo Pork Roast, Grilled Sweet Potato and Scallion Salad, Jicama Slaw
desert - soy milk shake w/banana

Hi Everyone!

I haven't been so busy in so long! My kids are running me crazy (and they're only 1 and 4!!!). DH is out of town until Sunday night so I'm solo. Anyway, here's my plan for the day...

B: None (oops!)
S: Diet Dr. Pepper
L: Chili, yogurt, V-8
S: Edamame, Apple with PB, Banana "shake"
D: Vegetable omelet, 1 slice ww toast with Smart Balance, V-8

Dessrt: Either a glass of wine or SF/FF pudding, depending on how the rest of the day goes ;-)

Today is going pretty well so far. I am staying on the diet for day two of my real return.

B - 2 eggs, V8
S - None
L - Salad, Salmon, Peas, Carrots and Hummus, Light and fit yogurt
S - LCL cheese and WW pita
D - Not sure yet - perhaps tuna sandwiches or something like that.
De - wanting chocolate really badly - so I might do SBD PB Cup

Have skinny thoughts today everyone.

Hey Maryann,

Can you tell me what brand of lf sausage links you use? My husband would love sausage with his breakfast, but I haven't been able to find any that are low-fat and SBD-friendly!

TIA,

Karen:

Have you tried the Boca sausages? They're meatless, but they're very good...I eat them even when I'm not intentionally planning vegetarian menus, I prefer them to real sausage anymore!

Hi Shan,

I have tried the Morningstar Farms sausage patties - DH likes them. I have not tried Boca, but I would imagine they are similar. I have searched the aisles of my store high and low for a low fat turkey sausage and came up with nothing. I like to change things up for DH - turkey bacon, soy patty, canadian bacon, etc. I was hoping to find a lf sausage too.
